UP THE IRONS
by on Feb 22, 2007 03:47 PM

Man have practically waited my whole life for a gig like this to happen and am so glad that it finally has. Iron Maiden was the first band I ever heard and go to know what metal was and loved it ever since. It will be good to see the Guvnors in action for real for the first time instead of DVD's. Cant wait for March 17, 2007. Gathering as many Troopers as I can on the Flight of the Icarus to take us to Jesus with Judas as our Guide........

My favourite band of all time. The self titled debut album thru "Piece of mind" rate the highest for me as well as their comeback album "Brave new world" (maybe the best comeback album ever)get the well deserved accolades from me. Can't wait to see the beasts live in our country for the first time ever. Up the irons!!!

We have seen a lot of gigs at the palace grounds... but have been wordering why the Chinnaswamy stadium or the kanteerava indoor stadium hasn't been looked into for any gigs. Those'll be awesome gig venues!!

Iron Maiden: The perfect band
by Thiruvelraj Pokkishamani on Feb 14, 2007 09:24 PM

We can feel the perfection in their music and really its awesome to see 3 lead guitarists in line on stage. Thunder bass and drums will make us go insane!. Apart from these stuffs, screamy voice will make us feel the real gig!!!. Always up the irons.

Up The Irons!

IMO "Powerslave" was this band's last great record. Like other bands of their era, (Priest, etc.), they've been on a creative slide ever since.

Brave New World was interesting but while I'd have to say Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is their best, I'm pretty fond of Somewhere In Time as well.
