The film completely belongsw to the genius director anurag. Where were u all this days. Pls we would like to see all ur films panch, gulal, alvin kalicharnaand no smoking. The truth is revealed after watching BF. Great performances by one and all. Do watch BF if you love ur country. Be alert and brave. Congrates to anurag and his entire team. God bless
When i went to what the movie is was really schoked to see the truth. but it was a well made attemp by the director to bring out the real truth.the footage the assembling of facts were well placed. it deserve the 5 star becoz these type of moive show wht happen to us and were r we.
the director of the movie has really given us something to chear about. The movie is too good and it also reminds us of the heinous bombay blasts. A well desreved 4 stars
it is truly sad to know wat kind of idiots are reviewing in rediff.com. ..first it was raja and now this new reviewer ? although if the film so real how come the film get 4 STARS ??? im really amazed seeing the degradition on rediff.com content QUALITY !!!!!!!
disappointed !! 3 star ok..but 4 star is too MUCH !!!!!!!!
In Rediff's opinion blockbuster film is a superhit superhit is hit hit is average average is flop flop is???I'm saying in general about all film reviews of rediff
Thanks Mr.Kashyap for making my Weekend such a terrific.
I have seen the movie, rest of people are already running out of word.
last Sunday I had seen Parzania, and this Sunday Black Firday, its going very heavily on my soul.
Only Disturbing thing was the way people Behaving in Cinema Hall. While featuring Babri Masjid Demolition some Hindus were cheering while in the scene where Tiger menon was shown telling why the Bomb Blast whould carry out some Muslims were laughing. Same happened with Parzania, in the climax where Human Rights scenes were filming some Hindus were making voice against the scenes.
Common Yaar, these directors are making these films to bring forward the Reality, please Dont make fun out of these.
Every Hindu Should feel ashamed of Demolition of Babri Masjid and Gujrat carnage so Every Muslim whould also feel ashamed about the Bombay Bomb blasts and killings of so many innocent peoples. We should see such movies with very positive attitude. Even Maachis was on the same line where Tragic History of Sikh Youths have been fantastically pictured. So Its my Humble Request to all Indians not only Hindus or Muslims that time has came to promote such movies so that these directors should be encouraged, instead of some Film Fraternity awarding them we should come forward and we should reward them for making such a sincere efforts, taking some time out of there life and forcing us to think that whteaver has happened was not good for either communities.
Hats off to Not Only Anurag Kashyap, but also to Rahul Dhilakia and Gulzar as well.

Black Friday is such a fantastic movie. Hats off to Anurag Kashyap. really its time to show the reality to the people of India, we are really very far from whats happening. At least watching such movies will make people alert and behave like real human beings. Our media's are interested to cover whats happening in Abhishek Aishwarya's affair, which car amitabh has gifted and which he recieved from so called vidhu vinod chopra. These people dont have anything else to cover. There are thousands of problems common public face please cover those and show reality.

Awesome is the right word! Read his interview dated April 05: http://mboard.rediff.com/board/board.php?boardid=movies2005apr05anurag
The movie is excellent. THough I saw it two yrs back on VCD since the release in theatres was banned, its good to see the movie got release in INdia. The review done is excellent only thing which wasn't mentioned was about the song "Arre ruk ja re bande which opens in the very beginning and at the end. The song is made in different style of rock but its very good to hear. Anyways enjoy the movie and kudos to Anurag Kashyap.
