ARE CINE HEROES OUR REAL HEROS?
by LAXMAN SASTRY on Feb 08, 2007 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

There are lacks of poor people suffering from disease, hungry, without any shelter and proper cloth. Lacks of people suffering for want of proper medical treatment. Why don't these rich people help them? Amitabh has already got crores of rupees. He can buy whatever he wants. Gift has not cost.

there is a common saying "practise what u preach" start donating then ask everybody to donate.first pay taxes. i hope u also try and budge from paying taxes which everybody does it as because nobody likes to part their hard earned money to be parted.this also may have been the ame kind.mr chopra might be saving tax by giving gift and has every right to do it then y u r worried.just relax and wait for your time to come for such an lovely gift.but u have to prove that you have what Mr Bachan have.

My brother, you can not force and it is not right ethically also to force anyone to donate for a charity. It should come from within; from a will to do good. It is his hard work that he is benefitting from, so it is totally up to him to do what he wants to do with his money as long as he is obliging to the rules of tax.

Dear Mr. Laxman,

Have U ever donated a small portion of your income to the needy ppl?? I am sure that you too must be earning a bit more than what U and ur family needs and that goes for your investments and savings...future plans etc. If you can part with even 1% of your hard earned money..then expect others to do the same. Have you never got a gift from anyone...as a token of appreciation??? If not..then U shouldnt be commenting....if yes...then U might have treasured it safely as a memory..Y U havent sold it and donated the money...even if it would have been Rs. 10? If he gets gifts worth of Millions...ppl giving it..get more than that...using his fame and name...this is pure business....Nothing in this world is FREE

Cheers

Charity is not something you can force someone to do. Amitabh deserves to be rich and keep it to himself. And its not as though only the rich in India will make a difference. If each one of us could donate something to the poor and needy in our own small(or big) way instead of asking others or the "rich" to donate, it would do far more good.

Dear Mr. Suresh,

Are U donating a little percentage of youe income to the unfortunate ppl in the society?? Mr. Bachchan will not read your msg in any case, then y are u making a fool out of urself? As far as Title Big B is concerned, it is given by millions of Fans across the globe so please do not comment on what Mr. Bachchan deserves and what not. Start charity at your viscinity with part of ur income..and beleive me..world will follow..leave alone Mr. Bachchan..after all..marne ke baad aapko bhi sab yahin chhod kar jaana hai...and ppl will remember U as well..
Cheers

i agree with you,
This is a sad story, All this news channels are forget what to present to people, instead they are showing how one gentleman makes people to laugh, one dancer show her jalwas in new year night and other stupid news(you cannot call this as NEWS it can be only gossips). (One more example i can add is When ISTRO was attempting Space launch, these stupid news channels showing how a one actor visit Sidhivinayak temple bare foot. and getting special analysis on that. i specifically mention only Doordarshan is showing Live Space telecast all the other stupids following Big actor for nothing)

Its really shamefull on part of media that always go for the ones that can attract more ads for them. Most of the news channels show garbage.

I, being passed out of a military school, know the level of devotion & dedication our forces have towards our nation. They are the ones who provide us safe environment endangering their lives. But, alas, no one, including media, Govt., politicians, praises them & their contributions.

India is Great
by Indian on Feb 08, 2007 10:28 AM  | Hide replies

Everyone! How is against these gifts, please answer these questions:

How many of us pay your taxes honestly?

How many of us follow trafic rules?

How many of us never went against laws?

How many of you did your job honestly ? Most of the people write these messages during their job hours.

What percent of our salary goes to charity?

You should ask yourself before pointing fingers on others. We are a jealous cummunity. Please, learn to work hard and put some time to change the things instead of talking about these.

Hahaha!! You seem to have asked all the "wrong" questions. No wonder none of us has dared reply. Honesty-Patriotism-Charity start from very small things like paying taxes and obeying traffic rules. Most of us can't even do that and its funny(and hypocrisy) to ask someone else to be a good citizen and do all the "noble" things!!

I'm completely with you guys. Amitabh got a new car and let him enjoy it. Why do you all care? For us, its news.. news because both Bentley and Amitabh are famous.

My only reaction to this event is.. Wow! what a wonderful car.

do u have roads to drive this car
by kalpesh shaw on Feb 08, 2007 10:16 AM

Its a nice car and a status symbol.

Mukesh Ambani had a MAYBACH,had to send it back to UK after few years keeping it in his garage ,as the car was not suitable for Bombay roads.
Wonder when will Mr.Amitabh Bachchan drive this car, after midnight??
