Himesh - Another Rahman in making - joke of the century... ha! ha! ha!
by Maheshwaran Irulappan on Feb 15, 2007 05:47 PM

Except "Main Jahan Rahoon" I am unable to differenciate the songs between Namaste London / Aap Ka Suroor. Himesh showed promise with "Tere Naam" and "Humraaz". Rest all bakwaaz, same dish served again and again...

Please don't belittle ARR.

Namastey London Music

All commentors who gave bad review about the Music have NIL music sense. The album is great and in fact it is the best of all. Himesh is another Rahman in the making i.e. he has music of his own style and class.

Music Of Namastey London
by T Sarkar on Feb 08, 2007 11:46 AM

So far, no music director has done that much of injustice with the lyrics of Javed Akhtaar.
Javedsaab has worked with almost all music directors except Nadeem-shravan. And the outcome was always worth listening.
Ananad-Milind created the music of Mrityudand; even they left their peppy trend and went with the feel required by the script. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, AR Rehman, Anu Malik and Rajesh Roshan paired most of the time with Javedsaab, and managed his poetic lyrics with elegance. Jatin-Lalit, Sanjeev-Darshan (HDAPH) and Pritam (Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi) also maintained the standard.

But Himesh simply sucks. He destroyed the feel of "Veeraniyan" with his nasals and one will think that its not a song, rather a quarrel. So pathetic.
His should remember that he is a music director who created "Tere Naam" etc. He really destroyed the lyrics with his monotonous sufi style. And i still dont understand why does he sing?

God bless Himesh.

Guys, not sure if you have seen one of his interviews wherein he was asked if he would sing for any music director..... and replied only for Rahman and no one else.... not sure if anyone will call him for a song.
