Guys, we are just giving our condolence and support to the grieving family .. can you imagine what would have happened if any Southern Suportstar's mom dies. ** Many many south indian people will commit suicide. ** Lakhs of south Indian fans will shave their heads. ** Lakhs of people will go into mourning than they would do for their own mother. ** Shops will be closed and looted by fans whose grief will be unbearable. ** Millions of people across South India will do all the death rituals.

I cant believe wht was d need for passin such comments...seriously, Amitabh's mom passed away, y ponder on wht happens if Rajni's or sum other south indian star's mom pass away.... rediff shud think sumthin abt this....pls stop regional divides....its applicable to both sides....

This disscussion board is realy full of people who have nothing else to do but thik that by wrting a chmacha giri message they wil get close to amitabh , one of them even refered amitabh as the modren shravan kumar and another one enlighted all of us by telling that late teji bachan was mother of all indians

I think this person Krishna Reddy has lost mental balance that is whey such comments are cooming from him. Has he mo parents. Does he/she say "happy return of the day" on death of his near and dear. Rediff should delete such message immidately. Indian are known for this curtesy. they feel sorry for death even if has happen in enemy camp. Further Amitabh bachan is not his enemy. He has not harmed any person. If he can not say a few word in sympathy /condolence then for God shake he/she must keep his/her foul mouth shut.
I was reading the submissions in the discussion board and the point you guys raised about ppl glorifying the demise of Amit's mother and not bothering about the issues like farmer's poverty or more specifically the death of Two Indian students that came out more recently. My question is DID BOTH OF YOU offer your condolences to the families of the two students thru the discussion board or submit your sentiments thru the message board ?
I guess we need to practice what we preach. There is nothing called right or wrong. Its all in the minds of the individuals. i respect your views as much as i respect the views of others who are giving their condolences in this discussion board.
This is independent India and people have a right to express what they feel. When they came back from a tired days work, it was the son of this lady who passed away who brought them back to their right spirits and gave them a temporary relief from their stress and tension. definitely they owe it back to him.
All of us have our own issues and problems in our lives and its not possible to empathize for all thats happening around us. Time has changed us that way. It doesnt mean that we dont care abt the society. I may be patriotic and have high social consciusness. It doesnt mean i need to be bashing up one set of people 24X7 and keep sympathizing for others. Just bcoz i feel bad for the farmers who are dying doesnt mean i shouldnt go to a multiplex 2 watch a movie.It doesnt mean that I dont care.

We don't know those students were, but we know Amitji ( some people also know Tejiji) definitely and are giving our condolences and suppor to them. This is in no way to offend the 2 students who were kille.
