Multiplexed by the prices that Fame Adlabs, Fun Republic, Inox, Movietime, PVR, etc., charge I have moved my custom to the good old single giant screen movie houses where they don't fleece you.
Soon the tide will turn to our advantage.
No movie maker should allow themselves to be grabbed by their family jewels.
These fights have become common nowadays. Only bcoz everyone wants to cash in before foolish critics like Raja Sen bash up the movies even before they release!! It is not just a fear psychosis. The classes actually believe those reviews and shun many a good movies. But since the masses are free from the clutches of the critics, distributors of movies like welcome should not be so wary.
Common people like us are the biggest loser in this fight between multiplex owners and producers...I too wanted to book a ticket for Welcome and not I have to travel a far disctance to catch the movie in PVR...Thank goodness PVR has not doubled the rates taking advantage of the situation..
I think all the movie lovers have one thing in common and that is see all the good movies. Off late we all agree that the review system at rediff might not be as genuine as we all expect it to be. But then for the sake of review we just see it to have a fair idea. We also agree that after reading the messages we get a better idea as to what we expect from the movie. Thus its time to say goodbuy to rediff review and read the comments from the movie lovers who write messages following the review. I think untill now both movies as per messages are fairly good and we all will go to see them. Also, OSO and Sawariya comments were equally acceptable amongst most of us on what to expect from these movies but we still went to see them. So cheers, we all love going to movies no matter what the review says.

Film reviewers will give star accoring to the share given to them.. if they get PAANCH Rs. then 5 star else you can imagine.. So see the movie only if you feel so and don't spend so much in theatre at first if you like movie on cheap VCD then spen in theatre.. else you will regret in theatre..
Rediff, If you would like people to actually visit your site, please get rid of these highly irritating ads which pop up in ur face when u open a link. I havent been even able to read this article fully coz of some stupid TOEFL ad without a close button at the corner too...

I also agree you in this. I agree that the ads is a way of promoting but it must be in a limit and shouldnt irritate the reader.

To block the popups and advertisements, download Firefox browser and install Ad Block Plug in. You will never complain of unwanted popups and advertisements.

I agree that the explorers can block pop up, but what can u do for the big pop ups in flash which have a small close button and that also not clearly visible

Instead Upgrade the IE to its 7th version......... its good......... i just changed the settings once & i hav forgotten that pop-ups "pop" @ rediff.com............ its only after reading this post that i remembered wat a nuisance it was................
Rediff walo ne Bhul Bhulaiya ki 1 star diya tha. aur woh hit ho gayee. abhi wel come bhi hit ho jayegee. aur tum saharukh ki ghatya film ko 3-4 star diya karo

bcoz it is the foolish people who want to see typical type of movie,,, and movie viewers should not keep faith on movie ratings by critics as they are biased for shahrukh and some others.... it is well known that akshay can act best at variety of roles not like shahrukh who always make mimikry..... pls watch khiladi 420, jaanwar also to see akshay's talent.... he should be only superstar....

Shahrukh's movie's are always hit, not only in abroad but also in india, i think u forget about DDLJ which is still running in Maratha mandir(mumbai) after 10 years of it's release.

even shahrukh excepts that it was his mistake to do remake of amitabh in DON. then y this much anger on him ? if you dont like shahrukh then dont go to see his movie. but dont tell that he is not talented ok ? akshay is good in all but shahrukh is master of romentic movies, or yaaa i think you forget about SWADESH & CHAK DE !!!! so better be prepared b4 writing something bad for someone like this...............

SRK was only average in SWADESH & CHAK DE INDIA. both film had good scripts but SRK is not ablr to do acting like Aamir in Laggan. He is far behind from good acting.

I am agree with U Sharukh's ghatiya movies they always give the good reviews. Akshay's is good actor & can do all types of movies & make them hit also unlike Sharukh only one type of movies
