Hello rediff, you claim Sridevi was 4 Years in KanthanKarunai in 1967 and 13 Years in 1973 Moondru Mudichu, how is it possible. Check the stats before posting. Also moondru mudichu released in 1976 and not 1973
You missed out pallvi joshi and master alankar. Alankar quit acting and is now into computers. Pallavi still does tv shows and serials. You also missed Rajesh Shrestha (Master Raju)
Before you start pouncing on the writer, Rediff, the Press Trust of India, and the I&B Ministry and start your signature campaigns to banish Patch N from further (meaningless)journalism, I think this article is essentially about child artistes from Hindi films -- doesn't absolve it off its meaninglessness!!
Kannada, Tamil, Oriya and your local tribal dialects might have produced brilliant child artistes and made spell-binding cinema...but they are NOT in scope of this article. The author could have mentioned that... but when have we ever been known for our sensitivity and respect for other cultures?
So keep your acerbic and demeaning North/South comments to yourselves and the ensuing integration formulae, discourses on Indian civilization, partition, pakis taking over the discussion forums, et al... and save some of the residual positive energy to feed your street dog or flip a coin into the beggar's bowl or something...
