I know this message board is for discussing Prachi's win. But , I'd like to mention over here something that I noticed yesterday while watching the show. One of the comedians , i guess it was that guy from pakistan said sometime during the show " Yeh woh show nahin hai jahan pe dance partners ko shaadi shuda hona zaroori hota hai ", everyone knew what was he hinting at? NACH BALIYE , now lemme make it very clear that NACH BALIYE is way ahead in terms of popularity when compared to Jhalak Dikhla ja. NACH BALIYE rocks!!! could'nt help it guys.

that was definately uncalled for Im with u.That comedian has a problem with these shows
sab log kyu Bkawass kar rahen hai Log apney talent se aagey bartey hai aur Prachi ne yeh Kasam se me proof kar diya hai aur uski age bhi abhi bahut kam hai Saurav Gangly ke come back ko bhi kya log yahi kahengey isliye accept karen borh deserved kartey hai.Prachi n prachi koi nahi hai takkar me. REALLY
though i think parachi did a fairly good job..sandhya was undoubtedly the best dancer among the three.. the same thing happened in last year's show too.. in which the finalist were mona singh and sveta salve.. and again svetha a far better dancer than mona.. but she lost to mona, coz mona had a bigger fan following..and the same happen this year too with sandhya. these shows are more of popularity contest than genuine dance contests..

Exactly! It's all a big farce. They change the rules as they go along. Once out, it should be out unless all the ousted comptetitors are given a fair chance at the "wild card entry".
To win you either need a Himesh R to back you or you need to be a "downtrodden bahu" who in reality is as extinct as the dinasaurs!

Prachi was the best dancer of the show. She dances with a grace. Mikka who never feared of any one on the show had guts to admit this. As far as judges are concerned...Two of them (Shamak and Urmila) were biased to her after she complained.) Got back and see all episodes.

It is a disguisting show at the end. Everything was stage managed by ekta kapoor and her dad jeethu. Sandhya was million times better than prachi. Prachi was no were near sandhya. I feel sorry for Sandhya.

yes I agree these shows are total worthless last time also shweta salve was far better than jassi. now prachi is favoured by ekta n co.
I am not supporting her first of all. She won bcos the majority of the SMS voting public felt she was better than other two contestants, Well when she dint perform she was not accepted by the Public, but when she was given a chance by wild card, after that it was hard work, and public support, Well if someone wants to say that there was bias and blah blah blah then they should better not watch such reality shows or else just enjoy the show. Anywayz congrats for the Jhalak Dikhlaja 2 - Winner
So far innumerable comments/ reviews has been posted on rediff, can anyone let me know the effect of reviews / comments being taken in a positive way by the respected individuals/organizations/political partied etc etc etc to improve their image
I was really disappoint when I saw prachi won the jhalak because I think Sandhya is mich better than Prachi. Sandhya dances like a perfectionist and I always enjoy her dance but prachi is more populer then Sandhya I think this is very strong reason for Prachi to win this contest. Otherwise Sandhya Deserve the Jhalak Trophy and Reward of Rs 50,00000.

Sandhya was a better dancer no doubt. However, Indian public specially middle class females from all type of cities do not like bold and modern girls who openly display their affections to men (as Sandhya displayed with Javed - her choreographer). Prachi did well to maintain her image by refusing to wear revealing outfits, even when she used to hug her choreographer her discomfort was visible. In the finals when all the three participants danced together you could see Sandhya clinging to Jay while Prachi was maintaining the distance.
Moreover when Sandhya used to talk in front of the camera expressing her views she used to appear over confident and arrogant. This does not strike to right chord with the majority of people.
It is unfortunate though that Indian public voted for all these reasons rather than pure dancing capabiity of the participants. This was the reason why Shveta Salve lost and this is the reason why Sandhya lost.
This is just my observation..the public knows the best.
