I dont want to write a full fledged review here but ..... The film is very stylish. Every frame is an art by itself. Nirav Shah's experiment with two shades (black and white) for the cast has definitely worked. The music is good, though loud at times. It definitely is a trend setter in Tamil Cinema. BUT.... there is a subtle suspense all through the movie (even when Ajith tells Prabhu before the My name is Billa song...."Sir as usual Billa will escape" )and if the movie had ended with a slight twist in the tale (a la DON '06) it would have surely matched the hype. But nontheless this is definitely a money grosser and will take Nirav Shah places !
Excellent Review Nandu! U have highlighted the pluses as well as the minuses of the film like a true reviewer should! DONT MIND THE FANS SHOUTING AT U, GUD WORK DUDE IN WRITING AN UNBIASED REVIEW...KEEP GOIN!
I haven't seen the movie yet, but logically if someone throws something, human mind have checks that to make sure it won't hurt them. The six may be looking to make sure that Ajit don't throw a grenade.

Well said Sam.... I have seen very very few movies with absolute logic. Well, if people can accept "Armageddon" as a movie with logic (the hero and crew land on an asteroid travelling towards earth at a million miles an hour...hahahaha), then there is no point debating about "no logic" in tamil movies.
DEAR ALL NANDU SUNDARAM IS MY FRIEND,,HE WATCHED BILLA WITH ME,,HE TOLD THE MOVIE IS FANTASTIC,,BUT REDIFF HAVE ASKED HIM TO WRITE BADLY ABOUT BILLA,,SO THAT MORE PEOPLE WILL BE VISITING REDIFF,,ULTIMATELY THEIR TRP WILL INCREASE,,
