Guys, who do you think will hold the fort for DMK after Karunanidhi (the remaining scum - Stalin, Anbumani, Ramdoss will end up splintering the party even further)? The other option is Jayalalitha and the TN people shamelessly voted her back to power even after 17 substantiated criminal charges were filed with ample proof and coverage of her wealth on T.V. The DMK and ADMK are hopeless. While the former will take us to a pseudo Tamilian state that refuses to accept Hindi and continue support LTTE (& have ubiquitous names like Stalin (the Russian one) who was one level more hideous than Hitler & frickin glorification of films that should only have Tamil names) the later will be spineless and keep changing parties every year. Rajni for all his lack of political acumen is still a viable alternative. He needs the right connections at the center, the right local connections with independant MLAs and maybe even hook up with Vijaykanth who had an impressive show in the first round.
I am not a great of super star, but indeed i like him for his spirituality,simplicity and helping tendency. He is not like other star who does help others only in front of camera.(I know personally how he helped one of my friends family but none of news agencies knew of it,) but If super star become CM of Tamilnadu ,he cannot do anything in this corrupt political scenario, look at wat Abdul kalam was able to do, even he is simple,spritual and very indian but was he able to do !!!!!! no when ever he tried to do something , the corrupt politicians will not allow it. Hence it will spoil his name, so better Rajini kanth stays away from politics and help other the way he helps now.. Happy birthday sir

You are not a good observer. Rajni is superstar because of selection of movies and style. Eg: Only RAjni developed 'vettaiyan' role in Chandramukhi.When compared to other politicians rajni is far more better.

Maybe for you best singer is from KA, but we have more best singers than tht. I do agree super star from KA, top actress from KE, but we do produce best director, best music director, best dancer, best cameraman for India. Dude we accept people with talent and not reject them bcos he is not a tamilian. Whts your problem???
