Akshay's pelvic machinegun was a real stylish barrel of laughs. But it wasn't original. Like a lot of her ideas, Farah Khan lifted it off from the 90's Robert Rodriguez - Quentin Tarantino horror flick From Dusk Till Dawn. In a funny set of coincedences, it was worn by an Indian assasin.
Carrying on the coincedence, Robert Rodriguez latest horror flick "Planet Terror" had a portion which had fake trailer's of fake movies a la OSO's filmfare awards. One of those trailers - Machete starring the kinfe weilding dude from Desperado (another Rodriguez movie) became so popular, it is now being made into a film....just like Akshay !
Coincedence or copycat, it was a good potryal and I'm among that audience who'd love to see AK kick some sorry butt after a long time. No one does it better nowadays.
Thereafter Akki Bhakki and SRK autanki will generate millions of employment, distribute 17 crores per film income to students a fellowship to persue their career, or distribute rice and dal for poor who don't earn even above proverty line of this country and define 39% of our population ...while SRK as Raj malhotra lands down with private chopper to do shava shava in designer dress which becomes national topic for discussion..thanks to our so much aware breed and young generation ... and then these heros go to save annual flood victims of Bihar where everything is destroyed per year, a chil looses his family and school every year in those devastating flood and these great stars collect 200 rupees per show from you the great concerned public who in fact give money to those dying poors through these media-maniacfans made superstars .... What a country what the people who prefer to waste time and money over such third rate stars who are made by media hype, but can't raise fund to help the needy people of the same society for whom even simple needs of life are big struggle! Perhaps they today define our intelelctuals and the great discussion board like this one.

Why you guys always interested in comparing one from other??? Both Aki and SRK has grown by themselves, they both are from non filmy back ground and whatever today they have achieved is sheer by their hard work and ofcouse by God blessing and for that they both respect and admire each other then why you guys see the diffrences in them??? Today they both are equally loved and liked and for that we shud proud of their achievments... Wud definitely want to see more of them together sharing the screen space...thanks.

I totally agree with you man. both of them are stars and have given good performances( and some horrible ones too.) but it is not good to compare both of them. how can you compare the role sharukh did in Devdas with the one akshay did in bhool bhuliya or may be namaste london. both of them were great in the roles they were given and if switch their roles they may not have looked that good. its like comparing cricket with baseball.

Absolutely agree. Both were strugglers in the begining, and both have thier own fan followers, and I love both of them, without comparing.

ok pankaj, agreed... but have u ever heard srk fans talking???? as if zers no1 greater than zer srk. i hate srk but i agree he was great in devdas n many other movies. srk himself likes to show zat other heroes are nothing in fron of him...

Actually Akki's Khiladi act was a total rip off on an internet video called "American Rajnikanth", but I think Akki did it much better than the orginal firangi dude..
