SRK has done what was expected of him, nothing more nothing less. But the movie apart from the grand opulence and excellent songs is a let down. See the director loses the plot when the audience can predict things. But OSO was not a big bore like KANK. Especially the spoof of various actors like SRK was good and the songs.
Overall, i think SRK should now start experimenting like Aamir khan, Kamal Hassan, Mamooty to name a few. Because he has got the talent and has the perfect face and body and is in the prime of his health.
Saying rude things about OSO and SRK is really stupid- OSO is just amazingly clever- one can enjoy it at face value and its very funny or enjoy its satire on film making and acting- and SRK provides all of that wit,fun and skill. Could one have imagined that Bollywood would be capable of making this kind of multi layered film - its too good. One cant just say that serious cinema like Satyajit Ray is best. Ray is serious best and Shah Rukh can be both- Chak De in which he conveys incredibly poignant and deep emotions with just a look or a twitch of the eyebrow and at the other end OSO where charms your heart out of you with his acting either as a junior artist or Star or just taking off on South Indian acting- Rascalla-mind it!
Hi to all of u first..... All SRK bashers plz gimme one name who has been able to hit the bulls eye as often as SRK has. He is wat he is cos he has worked extremely hard tio make a mark for himself .....Though I don't like SRK for his acting skills and feel Aamir is way ahead and so r many other actors, but I like him for his hard work, marketing intelligence and never say die attitude....
Amitabh is considered as the best actor we have seen, but even in his peak he wasn't able to pull a movie on his own with so much of success...Most of his so alled Cult movies were Multi-starrers......Even in Black, which is considered as his best till date, he stood way behind Rani Mukherjee and dat sweet little gal..
Better try and appreciate him for what SRK is rather than criticising him for what he is not....
well farah said aamir didnt come bcoz he waz busy...i dont bilieve it..aamir is such a gr8 actor he would have never ever been a part f such a crap movie
i really believe that OSO was one of the worst bollywood movies iv ever seen! and trust me im quite a bollywood bluff! i just hate it! i had headache watching it! and farah calls bheja fry a boring movie????

I totally agree to your comment tht SRK was better in Chakde than OSO. I also agree that SRK has that presense that can turn things. But prsence doesnt always help. That person has style and substance he can make u cry in Veer Zaara and Make u nuts in Duplicate. And if u ask anyone thats the mark of a greta actor who can carry himslef in any role. Whats the question about over acting he has tried to ape the stars of 70's for the fun quotient. And if you say he is not worth tht value then tell me why should he even take efforts and build his 6 pack. Even without it OSO would have been OSO. Taran Adarsh is not God of reviews but even he is hungry for total paisa vasool entertainment which he seems to have got like other who has liked OSO. So stop being Anti Shah Rukh and comparer his works. Keeps ur likes and dislikes to you and if you dont like him just dont go and watch his movies. And by the way even I am not a Shah Rukh Fan!!!

well said sameer..i totally agree with you. Srk really works hard and being a superstar, ppl are always ready to pull him down and thus the added responsibility. It really takes a lot to do Chak De and OSO in the same year (as farah correctly mentioned too.), 2 diverse movies, srk has proved that he can mould himself as the acting demands.....he can do the serious bit in Chak De and when required be entertaining in OSO....the first half esp required him to go a little over the top and thats what has added the spice..in the 2nd half he's toned down towards the end...again as required. Tell me how many actors can carry a Chak De & OSO with equal panache? He can keep both types of audiences happy , which not many can!! Kudos to srk!!

farah seems to be all too loyal to SRK...........whats up with that? I mean.........the movie was masala, but I dont think she has to be all praises for SRK and ONLY SRK.........I bet she can deliver hits with others in the lead..........now I dont mean that farah should hire Ajay Devgan (all due respect to him) but I am sure....AB jr. or Amir or Hritik can deliver solid peformances like maybe Akshay or whoever.
