Matrimony - Good one - surprised me. High On the Highway - Very bad story, direction, editing, acting. Pooranmashi - Good acting, direction and story. Strangers In The Night - Again surprised me .. though not very good editing. Zahir - End was predictable ... not great Lovedale - Again has a twist ... should surprise few. Sex on the Beach - Another very bad one ... skip it. Rice Plate - Good acting and direction ... will surprise you. Gubbare - Ok .. Nana is good but you can guess the end. Rise and Fall - Bad editing ... not great direction ... it could be better.
Dus Kahaniyan is definitely watchable. It's better than average bollywood potboiler. Rice Plate (Rohit Roy) and Pooranmashi (Meghana Gulzar) clearly are the best of the lot. Gubbare, Matrimony, Rise and Feall and Strangers and are okay. Rest are nothing much to talk about. 'High on Highway' was the worst. As for the 'Sex on the Beach', I guess the editor spoiled the movie in the scene when Dino comes to the house and knocks on the door. What was director Apoorva thinking there?
Matrimony - Predictable but good. High On the Highway - Stupid, no theme Pooranmashi - Great story Strangers In The Night - Brilliant direction Zahir - Nothing great Lovedale - Predictable campfire story (agree with reviewer) Sex on the Beach - Nice fantasy story Rice Plate - Best of the lot Gubbare - Again, predictable but sweet Rise and Fall - Self indulgent direction, nothing great
Sanjay Gupta is at ai again....he has always been at front when it comes to offering something to the audiences...i liked the film...its a new concept...especially for the indian cinegoers...of the Film i liked Matromon, Zahir, Rice Plate and Rise and Fall..a Good Watch
I think Puranmashi,Zaheer,Gubbare and strangers were good but rice plate was the one which takes the cake, its excellent.Rise and fall is all style,HIgh on highway is worst, love dale even more worst,Sex on the beach Beach Cheap and the worst you can see.
But Can somebody please explain what was Matrimony all about,Mnadira was Damn Hot i missed a bit Part since it was the Begining Story.Koi toh Batao Yaar.

Mandira is having an affair with another guy who gifts her an expensive necklace. She is scared to show it directly to her husband, so gives it to a jewellery and asks the shopkeeper to give it as some lottery to herself (somthing like that). Her husband volunteers to pick the lottery for her. But when he gives it to her, its a ring, not the necklace. Later she sees her husband's secretary wearing that necklace. When Mandira asks, she says its given by her boyfriend.

Thankfully I saw the movie before seeing this post! Why dont you two spoilsports just write down all the stories and post it all over the place! How stupid can people get!!!
This movie should have been given atleast 3 stars. 7 out of 10 stories are good and worth watching. Go ahead with this movie as it has got more watchable stories than he non watchable one's.
"Puranmasi" and "Gubbare" are the best pick among 10.
Sanjay Gupta and Meghna Gulzar has relly proved there mattle again!!!
Good and sincere attempt.. most of the the stories were taut and crisp..Amrita Singh delivered cracker of a performance.. Shabana Azmi hams no end and cannot figure out how a Tamilian speaks and ends up making a fool of herself..
