what ignorant people who speak ill of this great star who is a three time national award winner.some feel and think only people from north can act or acheive.actually if mammootty get a script that matches his potential all these hidi superstars old and young wont come near him

Only people from south can make this error. So there is no chance to come near to HINDI stars.

Hindi stars? my foot - one guy comes always shirtless killing black bucks and evading the law, one more claims he is a farmer while the whole world knows he is an actor and never even ploughed the land once, most of your stars are thugs having strong underworld links and you shamelessly boast about it? yuck. southern industry is far far superior anyday - given the money power I would say there is very less creativity in bollywood. They were good during amitabh, rajesh khanna & mohd rafi days but no more!!

Please dnt compare South Indian movies espically malayalam movies with Hindi if u really want to c acting and story go and watch Malayalam movies u will understand how fine actors they have

pankaj bhai, compare mammoty to your marathi actors not hindi actors. You are not hindi guy, nagpure means, marathi guy.
This a real story. Some film reporter from mumbai who is used to all frill no brain stars of Bollywood got a chance to interview mammootty. he started off with some silly question, for which the Keralite actor replied with equal scorn. In order to put him in his place, the reported came out with questions on Iranian Films which he though the star will never be able to reply. What happened next was classic, Mr.mammooty gave him a lecture on Iranian movies and the various interactions he was having with some of the critically acclaimed stars.The whole episode was classic.The reporter who was used to the dumb replies from the so called good looking macho stars was stunned. At the end Mr.Mammooty even invited him to his trolly to watch some latest festival circuit movies. He was shocked, he was under the impresion that these luxury vans being used by the stars only to............

Please note Mammotty is not in french beard and glasses that is the guy from Rediff ,the person in shirt is Mr Mammooty ,which actor in Bollywood is so handsome and still acting as a Main Hero in the film in this age expect for Amitab Bachan

I agree with you Chaklam... it is very difficult to figure out who this guy Mammoty is.. the same way.. I cannot figure out this chap Amitub Buchan or Rojni Kunt or Rajikumar or Enty Ruma Rao.. buddy don't act smart.. go get a life

if hero needs to look like a Ftv Model, then does it mean all the stories will only be concerned around such life style? Cant a rickshaw puller's story be filmed? Cant a Retired Miliatry officer's life be filmed? Think in broader sense.. Even if u want to flim biographies, think of movies like Gandhi, Ambedkar, Bhagavat singh, and other national heroes. Do all of them looked like models in their real life? Dont be too stupid..

He has acted many roles like Daba Saheb ,as a person who irons clothes in Kartheepakshi many more to say its not the looks that take him but the acting he does and for being such a good human being

chaklam what do u wear...pyjamas,kurtas,salwar like women n lift your kurta undo the pyjama knot.....ha ha or through the pyjama tubes u attend to calls of nature or ur suited n booted gora....remember once u cross the border north or south we are "kallus" whatever we wear..learn to tolerate each other
