Aja Nachle flopped but no one found fault with Madz.The whole flop show was due to a number of other factors.Madhuri is still the no.1 actress in film industry.There is no one after her.
The whole article is intended to denigrate Madhuri. First of all, those star things running movies are a history, now movies run if it can engross. OSO is a poor film but and it was a full packed enjoyment. While Aja nachle is a classic, though it is a make believe film, the characters are so real and it talks about reviving and saving tradition and culture, so obviously it is not a seller plot. In the promo of the film Madhuri, Anil Mehta, Jaidip Sahni all has said this explicitly, they mentioned the term theatre. That already caused some disinterest, in this age of mini skirted and bikinied girls. Now a days, Srk, Amitabh or any other male star cannot run the films by their names, pick any recent films and one can see that. Chakde is a very good scripted film and it ran because of that and the high paced drama. Now if seen closely, Aja nachle does not have anything that is like hot cake for today, it is a film with soul and the epitome of grace and classiness i.e., Madhuri is the main protagonist. So one can expect only high quality things, be it the noutanki dance or be it theatre, not today%u2019s hot stuff. Madhuri is magnificent as always, and all her costars are very very good, Kunal, Akshay, Konkona, Ranvir, Jugal , Divya, Irfan everyone is so good. The script does not do justice to her. Sridevi is the only actress ever to overhsadow her male co-stars, Madhuri neither had that.
madhuri not failed because she paly very good role ,acting ,dancing this movies but yasraj film is not good dirction as production but madhuri doing very good jobs this movies
It has only been one week, give the film some time man. Chak De India had a disappointing opening during its first week and the movie has poor collections in its second week, but it still became a blockbuster, I believe the same can happen to Aaja Nachle. Regardless, Madhuri excelled.

Not as dissapointing opening as this film has, CDI had a bad star but it didn't take a week for it to turn it around.
this an excellent movie.the theme is very strong i feel it is technically sound overall i enjoyed the film and of course madhuri is as charming as before.
