Yes guys, this is true. Even though the movie has been inspired from a true life incident in India, the entire movie has been copied from a hollywood flick called "Miracle". Miracle deals with icehockey. Watch that movie and you will find a thousand similarities yourself.
Even then, I loved Chak De too much. Undoubtedly one of the best SRK films.

tho i liked chak de lso, but it is no match to "A league of their own"- about women's baseball team- has stars like Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and even a bit of a role by Madonna. "A league of..." is simply fantastic. chak de again, was good, but too many sub plots was a put off.

No way, just because Miracle deals with ice hockey you say chak de is a copy? Any sport film is bound to be similar as it deals with same basic so you can say Any given sunday was a copy of Miracle too
Who can forget Negi, his articulate saves and a nice person on field. At least after so many years people are coming to know somebody by name negi is there, and it takes a Bollywood presentation to bring is case forward, why do not some body show KPS as a anti hero for the hockey world, (in lighter vien)
movies were INVENTED in america.....cameras, films, editing, sound track, special effects, the whole lot.
but America has the greatest pride in its Scientists - 270 Nobel Prizes, Enterpreneurs - 300 largest companies, Sportsmen - 2400 Olympic Medals......not in Actors or Hollywood.
Hollywood can go to hell, America will still be No.1, thanks to its Scientists, Enterprenuers & Sportsmen.

Hollywood is responsible for increasing violence & moral degradation in America now. All the Actors and Directors whould be locked up in Alcatraz, but thanks to the freedom of expression clause in the Constituition, they are still able to churn out crap movies.
Be wary cos the Boooollywood is closely following in the footsteps of Hollywood, the same thing may happen in the Republic of India.
