You must be ignorant to say tamil Ghajini is a scene by scene copy of memento. The better term may be inspired. Even Amir khan has said that in his blog.

Inspiration you create/improve on something which really fascinates you. Copying the samething is called Plagariasm. 99% of all Indian movies(Hindi, Tamil, Kannanda, Telegu are frame to frame copy of English/International Movies. No Indian except for a few have creativity and no wonder why people prefer to watch movies on DVD rather in the theater

hey dumbo memento is not a french film it s an english one by christopher nolan as far as issues of scene to scene copying goes, your remark proves only one thing that you have seen neither the english one nor the tamil one.guy pearce and carrie anne moss don t sing around trees in & neither is the villian a child trafficker.only the idea of short term memory loss was applied, agreed ghajini would have been been a tad bit routine if it didn t have the memory loss angle but then it s wasn t christopher nolan s idea either it was based on jonathan nolan s short story, who is incidentally his brother. by the way there s a french film called memento which has nothing to do with christopher s version & it is obvious that you haven t seen that either.

if your wondering who christopher is he made an indie flick called following which is a mind twister about stalking, in the wide release format he s done batman returns & most recently the prestige starring hugh jackman and christian bale.prestige is a convuluted as all nolan s films were and was a daft and complex potrait of jealousy, magic, submission & obsession.

for that matter, every hindi movie is a copy of either english movies or some south indian movie. The best box-office grabber od Hindi in 2006 was "No entry", which was an out and out copy of a Tamil film called "Charlie Chaplin".

which itself was an out and out copy of telugu film pellam oorelithe. it is unusual for the reverse stream, butit sometimes happens. usually telugu films are remade from tamil originals. and no entry was in 2005 not 2006. how can u forget 2006 when hrithik, aamir, shahrukh all had 2 big hits each none of which are south indian copies but incidentally don and LRM both from 2006 are being done in south. Billa in tamil and Shankerdada zindabad in telugu.

Aamir is THE BEST actor in present day film Industry.He is serious about his profession.His aim is to give best.Unlike Sharukh Khan and Old Amitabh(my past favorite) he stays away from Media, cheap advertisement.Simply he lends respect to Indian Film Industry.Amitabh & Shahrukh Khan can do any CHEAPEST Role for their greed for money.I respect Aamir Khan & wish him more sucess.I also wish he stays away from too much media exposure and not deteriorate as SRK & Amitabh.from Dr.Amin Simbli

U Aamir fans are Jealous and Dumb people cant accept the facts, Though I am a fan of Aamir, I like to say, hadnt he done Cheap Movies in the past? Hadnt he Divorced his Wife and again now he is married to another lady...Dude, dont get so much jealous of SRK and AB, have Gelusil and relax.. SRK and AB wont beg media people to take them into their camera...They r bigger brands and names, some Media guys r having their Bread and Butter of covering AB, SRK and Aamir's news too..

I agree! Also, I dont see anything wrong in making money. If you think, Amin, that Aamir is not interested in making money, then please take a reality check. Why do we consider people who want to make money as "BAD"? And PUHLEEEZ!! Big B and Shah Rukh are bigger than Aamir anyday.. I like Aamir too, I think he is damn good! This photo is NOT taken at the Infy campus. The movie is being shot at the AOL campus, and since I work there, am sure of this. Coz this happened last saturday, and I was there in the company on that day.
