Hindi movies don't compete with tamil movies itself or atleast malayalam movies, I don't know how they are sending for oscar's and other film fetes. They are best in copying in Tamil movies: Virasaat (Devar mahan)etc
Ofcourse there is no genuine comedy in Hindi compared to Tamil.

Don't talk about market or budget. Yes they spent huge without brain which are viewed by fools.But stuff wise tamil movies are really great. That is my point. Even if you don't know the language you can enjoy Tamil movies.
This could quite possibly be the look in Ghajini, when the protagonist was in more happier days.
The Tamil flick was a tremendous film, well made by Murugadoss, however, I strongly suggest that one should see the Hollywood movie which inspired (read.. was copied by) the Tamil version - Memento(2001) - a fantastic portrayal of the emotions.
