Well, yes, and no. Yes, Salman doesn't deserve any award for his 'achievements' on and off screen. NO, because the Rajiv Gandhi award itself doesn't have any merit in the first place. Another case in point is Lara Dutta's award this year. What next? An award each for Katrina Kaif, rakhi Sawant, Sajid Khan and Bobby Darling for their outstanding contributions?
These awards are no different from the likes of Miss Dombivili, Mr. Shahjahanpur and Ms. Thakur Galli. India is a free country, and we can create our own awards to satisfy our need for 'recognition'.
Salman Deserves Always............ If all people hate him just bcz he got Accidents???? People dont think that Accident could b hapened with any1.. And U cannot give Him the Death or Jail in response of accidents of black deer or car..... Yet he is Helping People economically,opened agencies to help them which people cant see??????? and accept all these He is always ready to help Friends and Family members. If he is not good PERSON AND ACTOR y he is choosen for STATUE OF A SUPER STAR after Shahrukh amitabh n aishwaria?? while not getting any award he is Chosen Why??? Just hE iS GOod and dont show his good deeds????
He is not at all eligible. for getting any award he/she should have a high moral and role model to others in the society. Other than he is an entertaining actor he does not have anything. Let his work for the people like Sunil dutt or dilip Kumar or Sabna Azmi and claim for that at that time people will agree for that. Even he is not regretted the crime he committed. Look the pathetic picture of Constable, who was absonding after the accident.
YES HE DESERVED THE AWARD AND HE IS ONE OF THE SUCCESSFUL ACTOR OF BOLLYWOOD WE HAD. HE HAS GOT TRMENDOUS SCREEN PRESENCE AND HE HAS THE CHARISMA TO TURN BAD TO GOOD. HE IS THE BEST ACTOR IN THIS WORLS WHO HAS ENTERTAINED US IN SO MANY MOVIES WITH DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. HE IS LOVABLE AMONG THE CINEGOERS AND HE HAS GOT CRAZY FAN FOLLOWING ALL OVER THE WORLD.
An actor who has not got even a comedy ward for acting in so many comedy movies, he gets Rajeev Gandhi Award? On what basis, for being bold and beautiful? If India cannot find any resourceful young man for 2007, say so , so that 2008 may be a better bet.
