On a second thought , why not Mahatma Gandhi Award to him for his nON VIOLENCE. Let's do it once for all. Bigger Insult to nation may wake up jury members and force them to think what they are doing.
I am asking those who think Salmaan shouldnt get the award.
Can they do the charity what he is doing. Can they help the poor the way he is helping. Can they take care of old Parents of others who left them helpless.
Look at the positive side, i think it will overcome on his mistakes. How can you say the Guy is Criminal. 1)He didnt do the accident purposely. 2) Poching is not allowed in our country but if anybody does it can not called Criminal.
Now he has learnt from his mistake and he has changed himslef. People are helping and making propoganda like any thing (e.g. Amitabh Bachchan), He is continuously doing but did not projected himself.
Over all he is definitely elligible to get the Rajiv Gandhi Award.

Now this guy is really talking like a loser...who is jealous of other peoples success...the thing which matter is intent...he is contributing...what are others doing...take the example of Bachhan and Abhishek both got headlines of land grabbing cases..

I almost forgot Abu Salem and Afzal Guru have already been pardoned for some charity work , nobody knows .

I wish I could mow down a few on the streets including the jury of this award after few pegs of liquor and also poach precious wild animals of our country and get pardoned by doing some paltry charity work. If you justify this as eligibility criteria there is no need of a justice system in India!

YES HE SHOULD BE GIVEN RAJIV GANDHI AWARD. SO WHAT IF HE IS BOOKED UNDER SOME CRIME RELATED MATTERS. IF A STUDENT IS GOOD IN MATHS AND FAILED IN HINDI DOES NOT MEAN THAT HE IS A BAD STUDENT. EVEN VALMIKI WAS A DECOIT WHO LATER WROTE RAMAYANA.

agar uss accident me salamaan k haathose agar aapka bhai yaa betaa yaa baap yaa pati yaa aap khud marte to aap ko kaisaa lagataaa....bolo bolo chup kyu ho ab....ek baat hameshaa dhyaan me rakkho criminal is criminal....fir wo aap ho yaa mai hu yaa salmaan ho yaa sanjay dutt ho....law is same same for every one....keep in mind and behave like a responsible citizen....
