The only actor who can make daredevil stunts on his own compared to plastic hollywood action hereos. No Actor in the world can match his brilliance - An all rounder and an expert in every field of movie making.
His movies might be stereotyped but thats what audience expects out of him so he produces movie like that.
As a man he has donated 50% of his earnings to charity after allocating some part to his family.
He started from where Bruce Lee left and his initial ventures like Rumble in the Bronx influenced by Lee didn't go too well. So he created a new movie style (stunts) for himself and rules all over the world.
Sadly the only Asian actor to break in to Hollywood market is one and only Bruce Lee.
I hope Jackie chan achieves that feat before he retires
In the world of action movies, his name will be there forever. Among all gory, bloody action movies, here comes a hero who choreographs every stunt equalling a ballet. Regardless of age, every body enjoys the humor, thrill of Jackie. After Charlie Chaplin, here is a star who does slap-stick comedy to the perfection. He doesn't promote violence, sex through his movies. He takes everything in a lighter stride. Only actor who has audience captivated till the scrolling of end credits. His are feel good movies of all time. Here are the films I enjoyed the most.
1. Armour of God 1 & 2 2. Police story 1,2,3 3. Drunken Master 1,2 4. Fearless Hyena. 5. Mr.Nice Guy 6. Who am i? 7. Project A 8. Twin Dragons 9. Miracles 10. First Strike

ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT SEEN ALL HIS MOVIES, YET FIND HIM A GOOD STAR, WHO IS HUMOUROUS AND GOOD LOOKING. MY ALL TIME IS WHO AM I, PARTICULARLY IN THE AFRICAN RALLY SCENE. SHANGAI NOON AS WELL AS TUXEDO, MEDDALION AND THE MYTH I ALSO GREAT. ALL IN ALL HE IS THE ULTIMATE JACKIE SINCE BRUCE LEE.
A few years back Star Movies used to play Jackie's movies every friday. I enjoyed seeing everyone of them.
There was this one particular movie where Jackie was dumb servent in Shalion or some martial arts school. I missed out its name and didnt see the movie due to a power blank out. Does anyone know whats the name of the movie????

I have seen RushHour1... this was a much older movie. The storyline was based on Shalion Temple.... with jackie as a sweeper or cleaner in the Temple, with many monks around. He practices some stunts at night, and gets caught by one of the monks. The monk yells at him for trying to learn... and he asks for their forgiveness... he was dumb....so asks sorry by actions... couldnt see the rest of the movie....

Many of his movies had this theme. In the one you are referring to, was Jackie a mute, someone who could not speak? Then the movie is "Shaolin Wooden Men". Else if he is 'dumb', like a bufoon, then the movie is "Spiritual Kungfu" also released in India as "Karate Ghostbusters". Most likely to be one of these two.
