watching a historic film and that too on the life of gandhi is always a delight and moreover from an indian director and actors doing such a fabulous job of justifying their efforts in reproducing an era of the late 19th and early 2oth century with such a meticulous accuracy and artistically is awesome .However after watching the film i feel that it has no moral message to give to the audience and appears more like a documentary which brings about the hidden facts of gandhiji's life. the film seems to be lacking in the significance in bringing about the fact in the life of gandhiji . its only message that i can perceive is that there is an element called fortune in everyones life and harilal was bit more unfortunate that he couldnot fight and conquer his destiny against his eforts and neither could gandhi as a father could come to his help which is well expressed in the word's of kasturba " harilal is not a bad person but he is bit more unfortunate" i think such a marvellous effort is wasted to find its signifcance
I think they have a clear strategy to reach out the place of ABCL. The worst thing is the Directors/Creators they pick. Sure they are content with inexperience stupid production executives. such a nasty!
Initially i also thought that Mr. Jariwala is not a correct choice for Gandhiji's role but when i sawe the movie,i have to accept that i was wrong... powerful performance really.. while watching movie , i cannot imagine that this man done those siily characters in earlier movies

WHAT U KNOW ABT GANDHI? A life which has no roots, which is lacking in depth of background is a superficial one. There are some who assume that when we see what is right we will do it. It is not so. Even when we know what is right it does not follow that we will choose and do right. We are overborne by power ful impulses and do wrong and betray the light in us. 'In our present state we are, according to the Hindu doctrine, only partly human; the lower part of us is still animal; only the conquest of our lower instincts by love can slay the animal in us.' It is by a process of trial and error, self-search and austere discipline that the human being moves step by painful step along the road to fulfilment.

what u know abt gandhi? Gandhi's life was rooted in India's religious tradition with its emphasis on a passionate search for truth, a profound reverence for life, the ideal of non%uFFFD attachment and the readiness to sacrifice all for the knowledge of God. He lived his whole life in the perpetual quest of truth: 'I live and move and have my being in the pursuit of this goal.'
