I am a die hard fan of Kishore and R.D. Burman, but I don't think Himesh ever said that he was better than them. When some reporter questioned him about his nasal voice, he mentioned that R.D.Burman also had a nasal voice. That is all.
He knows that he would be committing "career suicide" if he ever compared himself with Kishore, Burman, or Rafi.

People with self-respect will have role-models who are look like them and follow their culture. They will not have inferiority complex and look upto some fair-looking "gora" as their idol.
BTW - why do Hindi movies have upper-caste Punjabi families such as Malhotra, Saxena, Sharma etc and their heroes are all of Punjabi and Pathan stock and they speak urduized Hindi? Is it inferiority complex? I think it is due to centuries of subjugation and slavery!

Man, this again shows the way north indians think. Why do you guys have so much of superiority complex. Man talent can never be hidden and it is never limited to a place. If you still want to know the good actors from south then here is the list Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi(Though they are senior actors much better than your khans) Vikram Mahesh Babu(NO HERO IN INDIA CAN MATCH HIS LOOKS) Prabhas Pawan Kalyan Ajith Sidhharth and the list is endless... This doesn't mean that bolywood actors are bad and south indians are against bolywood if you look that way "Amithab sir" is still the favourite actor for any south indian and is treated as elder of the family AND If you take youger genration hrithik roshan is much regarded in south. SOUTH INDIANS ALWAYS BELIEVE IN SKILL and TALENT. Which people who make a statements like this will never understand.
Finally, please try don't try to discriminate between indians. We have divided once no more divisions in INDIA. Lets be together and try to bring up the great nation more great. -- JAI HIND

Anu Ramarao- Pls do not make up your impression from rediff forums about how North Indians think...Mostly people here just want to critize- be it South Indian actors or celebrity weddings...these people probably have lost their ability to think/say anything nice about anyone/anything...the level the abusive language itself shows that they are here only to degrade others... I am a north Indian and I have seen lot of south Indian movies which were later on made into hindi movies (even though I don't understand the languages)..and I have to say..ALL of them were better than their Hindi counterparts...
