I recall from a few years ago that the elder Mr. Bachchan was a citizen of the US. If that is the case, then he should be charged even more. Who knows, if something happens to a US citizen in India, then Bush may come sniffing with his hound dogs.

Its right. mr. bachchan had an NRI status earlier. Don;t know what's it now. To maintain the status he infact spent more than 6 months abroad. I guess all that was done to save taxes.
