Hasn't any body seen Shilpa,being smooched and kissed her in movies and even enacting scenes 'better' than that. What's is the hue and cry about it? Its all pre-meditated. Janet,Rakhee sawant etc.etc all did it.

Oh! God has given Mr. Ajay Nair so much work that even when some thief comes and steels his assets will be too busy to attend to that.
No Political Party have the guts to condemn such act for following reasons.
1. US may stop allocating BPO/KPO jobs to India. 2. We may loose all Business with the US. 3. US will stop giving HB1 Visas. 4. Bush may even bomb India 5. US will put sanctions on India 6. Our Forex Reserve may drop down. 7. senSEX will fall 8. GDP will fall
It is better people like Richard Gere (Tom, Dick and Harry) come and kiss Fk Ash, Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha, Malika sherawat, Kareena, Yamini so that we may be in the good book of US.

Common people are not stupid to feel jealous about a kiss... what is being demanded is a better stage.
If Shilpa has done it for the sake AIDS. Let Shilpa take AIDS infected on stage and kiss him......................Only then we can consider her step as good one for AIDS affected people.

This is a very common incident in page 3 and movie / media circles. Everybody kisses everybody. I wonder what is so wrong about it. . Besides, these varanasi guys never protested the stupid drama shetty enacted to win big brother.

Kaushik... reply to your suggestion that it could be the context that kiss doesn't give aids...
This can be conveyed in many ways. There is a group of people who think modesty and keeping private things private and focussed are far from virtues. Mahesh Bhatt types learn it ... god knows why Gere was into it. I am sure the protest in some way is about this assertion. It would be far more comfortable if we had more space to debate if modesty has some virtues, like freedom or it is freedom. People ignore these larger issues, freedom in context of whims would support kissing, freedom as absense of whims would have a different view. But these issues are different.. enjoy the hit and run here...
There are seriously better things to protest against. I think these people instead of wasting their time on such petty things should rather protest about more serious issues eg: Perreira case.
