Hey, its people like you that degrade india and not Sanjaya. In a singing competition there should be no place for Sanjaya, it doesn't matter India or America. BTW, he didn't get all those votes because he is an indian. Personally I think, he might be a bad singer, but he is a good entertainer. Did u ever heard Ashley Simpson etc.,s sing, or should I say lip sink.
I like Sanjaya. It will definitely be boring for me now. Oh well, now I can get back to my normal life and not have to worry about making it a point to watch AI. now that he's not on the show, there's no point in continuing to watch it.
I am looking forward to tonight's show .... Sanjaya is the only interesting contestant on AI6 .. the rest of them bore the hell out of me. Myth busters: Those that say they aren't going to watch anymore ... Myth ... they will. Those that say if Sanjaya wins they won't watch ... Myth ... they will. Those that INSIST that Stern and VFTW are the reasons Sanjaya is progressing ..... Myth .... Stern and VFTW are surely getting credit for something THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR! Folks like Sanjaya! He's a breath of FRESH AIR after sooooo many 'cookie cutter' performers (ex: hip hop wannabes and screamer women). GOOOOOOOO SANJAYA .... Sanjaya was in the competition only because people used to vote for him as a Joke, and also because a Vote for the Worst Web Site encouraged ppl to sabotage the show. I am in the US, and every white American I know hates Sanjaya. There is truth in the statement that NRI Indians also voted for him like crazy. So Nitin - Stop being a fanatical Indian. Sanjaya could NEVER sing. Anyway he is OUT. Thank God for that !!

Nitin, no means for getting angry. That's the fact. Sanjaya has made this far because he is the only NRI who was through the first round in the 6 seasons of AI. FANJAYA BANDWAGON: Sanjaya deserves to win. even clinton asked about sanjaya. He's got class, charisma, good looks, an original sense of style and a quirky sense of humor, rhythm and what is despite the off parroted negative comments on the 'net a lovely pure sweet tone to his voice. He can entertain and connect with the audience arousing passions (positive and negative) to a degree most established stars would give their eyeteeth to achieve. Face it. He's already the biggest *star* to come out of that show. At this point he doesn't need to win--though he very well may as I look for Simon to become a Fanjaya (I think Randy's there) in coming weeks. I look forward to increasingly confident vocals and more vamping the camera in coming weeks. And for the naysayers: You're just jealous you couldn't pull it off

Oh Manashi, I think class, charisma, good looks, style etc all mean something else in your dictionary. (Sanjaya and class, charisma... it can't more funnier than this).
Sanjay may not have a great voice but neither have the rest of the idols excluding Melinda Dolittle. I feel Sanjaya is being ridiculed a lot because he is from Indian descent. It is more to do with race than anything else. If he was a white American people would not have made such a fuss. It is a shame that Sanjaya is being given such a negative image by the American media. All the more reason I would want Sanjaya to win. Good Luck Sanjaya.

OK... Can Sanjaya Malakar beat the remaining six contestants and ride this thing out, whether it's people who think he's the best or the worst, all the way to the top? Probably not. Simon Cowell has said that he would actually quit the show if Sanjaya Malakar wins and that probably means that it won't happen. Also, while booted contestants like Gina Glocksen and Haley Scarnato probably should have outlasted Sanjaya Malakar, his sticking around hasn't really kicked anyone too talented off the show yet. When it gets down to contestants like Jordin Sparks, Blake Lewis, and frontrunner Melinda Doolittle, then we can start taking Sanjaya Malakar's campaign for American Idol more seriously. So, Wait until you hear the audience response if Sanjaya Malakar sticks around instead of one of those three favorites.

He can't even perform on stage let alone sing. Give this kid Sanjaya his due. How do you account for the votes he gets. Are you suggesting rigging?
