Sweta Ji, I also like Himesh. But this guy called Bobby is intolerable anywhere. Also, he'll make a mess of anything you give him, even if Sanjay leela Bhansali takes him in a film.
what i think is.....bobby being a nice actor....is not getting the movies he can prove his acting.On this stage of his career...he definitely needs a big hit....

I second that. There isn't much to do in Bollywood except type casted roles. I always thought Saif Ali Khan is just an average actor. It was only after OMKARA that I changed my views about him. Given a chance I think Bobby can also prove himself.

Bobby Deol has been around with too many flops (perhaps will go to Guniees book) in too many years. You still think such third grade actors would get to do an "Onkara" ?

I thought same about Saif buddy. BTW look at the way his big brother is fairing now. He looks like a dumbesh macho in the industry right now, but he had done great movies before. (Remember Arjun). Look at even Dharmendra who many great movies in his pocket; esp in the early stages of his career (those BW).
The point is you can't predict about these things. Given the right oppertunity at right time anything can happen.
BTW Ajay Devgan career as a serious actor started only after Zakm many years after his debut.

u need 2 remember tht only the media which hates bobby and the people who have,i certainly believe,no knowledge of what acting is,has been saying his acting isnt gud.else if u ask any impartial critic in the world,he will tell wat this man's calibre is.in his first movie,he got best debut,while twinkle dint.any reason?he has been part of movies,but denied credit,lik gupt,credit goes 2 kajol,ajnabee,credit goes 2 akshay,humraaz,credit goes 2 another akshay,while his performance in his hits soldier badal and bichhoo were never 2 b talked.its just 2 b fair.and if they b fair,even in the movies,he was denied credit,if he had acted badly,movie wudnt hav worked.as simple as tht.nd abt performance,can any1 giv a bardaasht or tango charlie,and as far as i know,shakalaka boom boom was awesome as part of acting is concerned.but media wont care.they wud say has this man produced any gud movie ever?hes much 2 b blamed,for sum part,it was bad selection,nd also his being media shy.coz there are dozens nd over actor tht cant act but are over hyped by media.the fact tht ashwarya rai is still there getting reviews of gr8 acting in every movie where i can c her just a mix of premature nd over acting is 2 prove tht media and critics equally lik those who lik them.nd bobby,has said so many times he hates them.nd abt bobby,best of luck,im sure u'll silence ur critics who probably the day they realise wont b able 2 face themselves,so best of luck 2 them 2.nd bad luck till now 2 india 4 not being abl 2 recognize a gr8 talent nd finding themselves in certain kinds of name nd fame thing

Agreed, Anirudh. You said it well. Nevertheless, we'd end up seeing more Mithuns, Aftabs, Govindas and the likes with 1 hit and 16-20 flops.

u were 2 support urself i guess!mithuns,u know how many hits he has 2 his name,nd given the fact he wasnt offered roles upto his acting standards,govinda,u know how many hits he has?short memory probably,thts the case with every1.abt aftab,i dunno abt his hits or flops,i surely know hes a tough actor,just watch footpath.nd btw if u wanna call bobby in tht so called 3rd grade category then i wud hav 2 remind u he has atleast 10 hits in his 30-35 film career.nd every1 wants 2 work with him.no reason other than talent wud bring an actor 2 6 releases in a year.nd its media who hates him i wud say coz dosti was biggest blockbuster the year it was released in U.K.,where it was released b4 critics called it homosexual movie.nd i want 2 c tht movie again nd again coz its abt relations
