Good job

I must accept rediff knows how to do business. Look at the number of posts on a stupid article. Discussing someone's marriage whom you don't know. What's the point guys? Get a life people. Live your own life, not someone else's.

Remember these film stars don't care about you. Don't give them so much importance guys...

EXACTLY ... YOU LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE AND FORGET WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE DOING, MEDIA PRINT IT BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT IT, SO YOU DONT WANT TO SEE IT, DONT READ AND FLIP OFF TO ANOTHER ARTICLE OF YOUR INTERST AND LEAVE THIS ONE FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERSTED IN IT...OKI YOU WILL BE FINE AND OTHERS WOULD ALSO BE FINE.... LIVE AND LET LIVE MY DEAR.... THAT IS THE LIFES GURU MANTRA AND ADOPT IT... OKIIIIIIIIIII TAKE CARE...

boo to moral guardians
by reema moudgil on Apr 10, 2007 03:07 PM  | Hide replies

I read with great amusement, the messages on forums like these where moral guardians talk about culture and a woman's purity as if they were an authority on the subject! Who decides the purity of a woman and why ``impure'' guys get away with multiple affairs and dirty minds and dirtier language is a debatable point but most laughable are comments on morality and virginity in a country where more than 50 per cent kids are sexually abused (refer to TOI cover story today) and the highest number of AIDS carriers in the country are married men (refer to an NDTV interview with Ashley Judd)! Noone gets angry when crimes against women increase, when children are sexually targetted in not just Nithari but in places like Goa and God knows where else, when young girls as young as 10 are trapped in prostitution rings but everybody's morality gets affacted when a woman dumps two losers to choose the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with! I suggest that people who want to impose their own stone age morality on others, get a life and accept that a woman's purity does not need their sanction and that dirt is in the eyes and the mind of the beholder, not in the object of their hatred. And please save your anger for rapists and child abusers instaed of targetting an actress who does not even know that you are crawling in some subterranean layer of the earth.

Well a good post but u can also save ur anger for rapists n child abusers instead of wasting such a costly emotion in rediff forum where most of the readers who post messages are not in sync with wat they write and are out here to have some fun!
as for as aishwarya spending rest of her life with abhi(according to u) time will answer!

I said, Iam amused, not angry Mr Kumar...as for people having `fun,' some of the posts are downright abusive and if people's idea of fun is to mock a woman because she had two boyfriends and she is over 30 and God forbid, is far too powerful and famous to be affected by their narrow minded carping, it only reflects on them. Whether Aishwayra spends the rest of her life with Abhishek or not is not my concern, nor shud it be yours...

You are absolutely right Reema. The comments made here are extremely sexist - hardly anyone mentions Abhishek's numerous affairs and link ups, or that he was engaged to Karisma.

we like to think India has progressed, but unfortunately the attitude towards women still stinks. Men are allowed to get away with anything, but its only women who are held to moral standards.

What is even sadder is that its not only men, but also women who have commented in a derogatory manner towards Ash. These are the women who can't support their own gender, will one day pray for a son, abort their daughters.

Well, one good thing, obviously Abhishek does not think like these people, if he is happy marrying a 'buddhi, with a past' then I guess that should be the end of the matter.

Abhi-Aish wedding

Marriages are made in heaven. Whether Aish promised & broken, anybody would do this.
Marriage is her own choice. Nomatter how stubborn you're with your promises, when it comes to marriage it just so happens that you may have to break ur promises.
Why do people are after her promise? It's her life.
Definitely they both make best pair.

Shyla,
The thing is that - how many experiments one person requires before she settles down ? She is the culprit in breaking rel with Sal abd Viv.

WOMAN CAN MAKE OR BREAK THE HOME.
And ambitiuos women like Ash can only break the house. But this Abhi is really dumb, dunno what kind a gal make the HOME !
SOME PEOPLE NEVER ACTUALLY LEARN FROM OTHER'S MISTAKE.
