story of two psychopaths by tejas
by tejas on May 18, 2007 04:19 AM

One can not know the truth by watching some movie or reading autobiography. Kiranjit was suffering but she stayed with her husband for 10 years. I just read her interview and she herself confessed that her husband was suffering from split personality%u2026.he was a good father and worked overnights for family. ( http://www.stophonourkillings.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1490)
I believe he was a psychopath and needed attention and treatment. For the sake of Humanity do not justify murder as a perfect step to end suffering, because her husband was mentally ill and deserved psychiatrist not death. Media and so called women organizations portray her as a courageous lady for votes and money.
I believe it is the story of two psychopaths..one who was physically and mentally suffered for 10 years and murdered the other
The other was suffered in childhood (may be by his mother, because this kinds of psychopaths have a bad abused childhoods from which they develop hate towards woman).
Hence it has nothing to do with a culture. Its a tragedy.

This is for all of them who says Ash Can not act
by Arun Nair on Apr 10, 2007 09:32 PM  | Hide replies

Well first of all I was realy moved by the movie when I saw it yesterday. A film, which is very ordinarily shot, but what I saw in the movie is the sincerity of the director who did not made it very heavy with lodz of heavy duty dialogues. I realy have to say this that when I watched Ash on the screen make me feel like she had lived the life of KIRAN, She did not had much to say in terms of Dialogue but her eyes said it all her pain, her helplessness and a great depression that the character of Kiran went through in those 10 years. Well with a Gr8 camera work and good location and lodz of technology any one can give a performance that Rani or the big mouth of bollywood Mz Kareena Kapoor gives and get away with all the acclaimed awards and what not. So all those ppl who says Ash can not act Guyz its ur time to get out of it. The sooner the better.

SHE IS STILL VERY VERY ARTIFICIAL...SHE NOWAYS COMES NEAR TO LIKES OF RANI, KAJOL, VIDYA BALAN, MADHURI...she doesn't have that in her, what these actresses have...they are VERY natural, unlike Ms. Rai ,they are truely talented...i don't call that acting, what she does..sorry

you are absslotely so incorrect with you rather biased opinion...She may not be as talented like Kajol or Rani but she is still ONE OF THE BEST we have around...so deal with it...and to add that she is not talented would be a ludirous statement cause many movies of the past and present have proven that she is in a league of her own...unless you really dont know how to distinguish between a bad and a good actor....i dont agree with you sorry!!

It again tells a women to stand on there foot. Go to work, make money.

Its not the same world our parents had.

One advise, If you are not happy or in a abusive relationship. Get out of it.

You ( men or women ) dont have to wait till "Provked".

Today, more and more Indian men are getting abused in western world.

What about domestic violence men have to go through?
by Om Aum on Apr 09, 2007 03:43 PM

Provoked is a true story of domestic violence happening to a woman. What about such violence happening to a man? Any man (at least most of them) wouldn't keep quite and would retaliate if his wife is violent. Now what if the same woman shows to the outside world (her friends, colleagues and her family members) that her husband beats her up? In today%u2019s world this is happening a lot and I want people to believe this.

What if your wife has multiple personality? One personality, which is doubting her husband all the time, blaming him if she is not able to get a job etc. Other side she is very social, impresses anybody who talks to her, caring nature etc.

What is she doubts you of having affair in office if you come home late (because your work at times demand you to stay late)? What if she wakes you in the middle of the night for talking in the sleep and for taking some woman colleagues name in the sleep?

Today%u2019s law favors women so much so that many have started taking advantage out of it. Here is a small e.g. When a husband called her wife (who were planning to get divorced) to discuss how they should proceed with the divorce, the wife hangs up the phone. Later he gets a text message from his wife. %u201CNever call me or try to meet me. If you do I will report to the police for harassment and you will be arrested%u201D

Who will make such movies which shows domestic violence on men?
