ASH Prestigious International Honours
* In 2004, Aishwarya became the first Bollywood and Indian actress to have her own statue at London's Madame Tussauds museum.
* She is a member/model of the elite L'Oreal Dream Team, joining beauties Catherine Deneuve and Andie MacDowell as the brand Loreal international ambassador.
* Ran to Olympic torch in 2004.
* Was presented the `Global Diversity Awards in 2005 by the European Union.
* Is the first Indian actress to get signed on with the American Library Association and also have a poster made of her for schools and library's all across America.
* Appeared at the Closing Ceremony of the2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, as a part of a performance on behalf of the 2010 Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi.
* Mattel released limited-edition Barbie dolls inspired by Aishwarya and her costumes in 2005. They were a sell-out.
* Has a breed of tulip named after her.
* Has endorsed two international rival cola brands - Pepsi and Coke

Is it the only happening in the world? So many things to write about India and Indians and their achievements....why we are stuck up with only these makeup cladded guys and gals. When there are many other important REAL things exist.

we are not the deciders about whome to live with whome....if u dont like the pair, please avoid hearing news about them.It is there life, they decided....no worries for you.You worry if and only if they ask any finance to support their marriage or their kids.

I totally agreee i think rani is so much a better match for abhi.ash deserves someone as b'ful as herself..maybe vivek oberoi he's cute.or the most handsome man in de world as she is the most b'ful woman in de world..abhi is not handsome...

I also agree with you that Abhi is not handsome but he has made the right choice. Ash is the perfect partner for him.
