How is IIFA different from Filmfare or anything. Who nominates and decides the award. Most importantly how come they represent India??? Kal ko rakhi sawant bhi pahunch jayegi... saying that she represents India
Amirkhan - overrated actor - see Fanna Absolutely right to compare him to the cheap furniture place called IKEA Shahrukh Khan - Tapori Khan with foul mouth Salman Khan - only good Khan fun to watch but with bad repute BTW there are no Baadshahs in India since it sounds like a foreign word so keep that Tapori abroad please. There are only Kings and Emperors and Amitabh Bhachaan is the only Emperor of India Movie land.

I agree, however not really Jealousy but the reason to not like Shahrukh Khan is because some times his really nasty self comes out in his comments and you wonder that who is the real Shahrukh Khan. SRK%u2019s behavior at the Filmfare Awards 2007 was very bad What he said to that politician in the front row was nasty. Each function has its etiquette. It is unheard of such comments and behavior in a black tie Awards ceremony. That%u2019s why people call him Tapori, he can turn a perfectly good looking well polished function into a street show. But that was not the worst. Worst came later with his behavior towards one of the finest director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, you could see the Jealousy coming off his eyes.
You can see the difference Amitabh talks to everybody with a lot of respect even though it is a smallest actor. But Shahrukh even in front of the world on the stage is cocky arrogant and many a times insulting to his peers, superiors, guest or juniors.
Shahrukh is very good in Swades, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa excellent actor but Karan Johar has really wasted his acting talents and made him a crying showcase (uugh). Baadshah, Darr, Veer Zaara were his much better work.
Between Shahrukh and Salman I still prefer Salman's Spontaneity but hey I also like Govinda over many other actors. Whoever acts well or makes us laugh is welcome.

Amithav's life is like "Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gum" and Shahrukh's life is like "Darr". If any of you can describe better, describe with movie names.
A life-size wax statue of so called Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was inaugurated at the world-famous Madame Tussaud's museum in London recently. Much to everyone%u2019s surprise, the statue looks more like the %u2018Kaun Banega Champu%u2019 (a spoof on KBC) host and stand-up comedian Sunil Grover than the real Shah Rukh Khan! Why it that the Tussauds wax artists are unable to create an exact version of our stars? The Hollywood stars%u2019 wax statues are so life-like! Even Aishwarya Rai%u2019s wax statute isn%u2019t an exact replica of the Indian beauty %u2013 in fact far from it. Amitabh Bachchan%u2019s wax model is not an exception either but is a better effort when compared to these two %u2018fake attempts%u2019. It%u2019s disappointing considering the fact that Shah Rukh is extremely popular and deserves better than a %u2018champu%u2019 wax statue by the Brits.

ya its true ...I myself saw Amitabh and Ash wax statue in london recently and these are far from the real looks. I think Brits should hire some south Asian artist to give a real touch.
Its gud that Indian movies are taken to another hemisphere but regretting things is that, they say International Indian Film Awards but we can see only Hindi film awards. Indian films is not just Hindi but also Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi..... If they want to showcase Hindi movies, let them but let them not give an impression to the world that Indian movies are just only Hindi, some of the best movies in India are regional movies and I think they are ignoring good work by regional movies and in fact some of the best actors and technicians are from Marathi, Bengali and so on...... 8th year running and still if they have not identified and appreciated Regional movies in this forum then this is purely a commercial gimmik and that is something sad and is not appreciateable!!!
