Directors please give us a break ... We want these stars doing much more than these ... We want them doing the feats which is possible for Human beings ... We like them as Film Heros but cant worship them as Gods .
If people think it is the entertainment no comments on it.
But fact is a fact .... its a human tendency to start liking some one or other .... There will be no telugu guy who cant like NTR and Chiru.... No Tamil guy who cant like MGR and Rajani No North Indian who cant like Amitabh and Abhishek....Kannadigas like Rajkumar and Rajkumar alone... South indians watch both Hindi and regional languages so know more about acting , but definitely have a tilt towards the local talent. If a Guy can perform three diversified roles(Krishna, Duryodhana, Karna ) in a single movie to perfection and make the movie an all time hit being a Director and producer for that movie then definitely he should be uncomaparable and a legend in the film history of the talkies . A telugu actor performed this act and people who dont know telugu cannot enjoy this . no other comments other than showing pity for them ...People who knows English only can appreciate Marlin Brando's action in God father . No need to comapare and talent lies every where and people likes and says hats off to talent.

Chandramukhi is a remake of the superhit malayalam movie-'Manichitrathazhu' and not of any Kannada movies. Please don't misguide readers, Mr.Vijayasarathy.

Chandramukhi is a remake of kannada movie Aapta Mitra hich was a remake of MaNichitratazh. Why I say CM to be remake of Apta mitra because the scene-scene resemblance and by the same director. While, the concept was derived to kannada from malayalam movie. However I liked Manichitratazh for the concept and Apta mitra fo its production agreed to the fact that AM was done 12-12 years after MT.
CHANDRAMUKHI IS A REMAKE OF MALAYALAM SUPERHIT "MANICHITRA THAAZHU" AND NOT ANY KANNADA MOVIE.... THE ORIGINAL IS MALAYALAM... AFTER ALL IN SOUTH ONLY MALLUS MAKE SENSIBLE MOVIES

Mallu's were & are famous for SEXY sensible movies. Its just like one rose in thousands of thorns i.e CM is a rose and n number of sex movies are throns.

Yes... No One else makes Pseudo Intellegent Movies with no entertainment value ! And yes every ignorant person thinks he is most sensitive. Films are business ! Show Business ! Yeah, We know what kind of Sensible Movies in the malayalam industry are there, thats why SHAKEELA is so famous everywhere.
He is realy Shivaji in Film industry I am proud uf Shivaji Gaikwad urs Rajnikant, because he is great maratha and great empired person in film industry.
This region of the country thinks MGR was great , Jayalalitha is great , T Rajendran is great ( you must see this person acting in some of the Tamil movies , he is preposterous ).
So ..i am not surprised when Rajni is revered in this region. It speaks a lot about the people...heh.

Mr.thombre & Manoj. Kindly don't talk about acting as u ppl don't have an habit of seeing films outside your territory (Hindi), whereas we from south see all good movies that is done in Hindi as well apart from our very own good south indian movies.
U ppl (u two) in particular don't have any right to comment buddies. So kindly come to this review section and read others writing their reviews and better start writing reviews or comments if you have any idea about films.

Yes, i agree with you. I used to be a very bitter critic of kannada movies not so long ago, but there has been a great turn aroung recently. Now, look at 'Mungaru male', every aspect of film making has come good in it, direction, music, photography, editing, screenplay, acting... and many more. If this kind quality is maintained i'm sure that not only south indians but the whole of india would watch kannada films.
By the way there was a news coverage on Mungaru male on NDTV 24x7 last week.
