I wish they did a better job in making the wax figure look EXACTLY like SRK, I mean you can so0o tell the difference between them! If it looked EXACTLY like him, I would so0o buy myself one of them, you know, if they were available for sale!!!
Its a shame rediff always gets the news wrong. Mr Khan is not the 3rd Indian to get waxed at Madame Tussauds. If you forget Gandhiji in this list, then is it worth giving false details???

I think you didn't get it correct. It isn't 3rd Indian but 3rd Indian ACTOR. Read well and then comment.

srk has its own style , no doubt but he created his own staus in indusrty by his extreame HARD WORK .He atracted yash chopra, johar , subhash ghai and gauri khan and made some popular movies. good luck srk isthe best.

all successful actors/actresses are egoists by nature & money is their God-they have to be,how else would you measure their success
SRK truely deserves the status he has today, not only he is a style icon but he has probved his acting mettle, every now n then in movies, whoever calls him crap let me remind them that he was the one whop started this "Negative Hero---i.e. hero with a grey shade" in film industry and top of it he has emotional stealers like Pardes, Swades and Dil se up to his credit, where even his hard core critics couldn't deny his intensity. Agreed at times he is repetitive, but fault lies in every actor,. If you see some 70's-80's action pot boilers of Amitabh Bacchan like Aj ka Arjun and Ganga jamuna Saraswati, Jaugar, Akela, Ajooba, they were not of any superior quality movies, but we cannot judge that mega star on the basis of these movies, so in a same mannerwe cannot keep on harping bad things about SRK. Then no one can deny that he is a geneuinely good human being who doesn't trouble anyone unless untill he is affected. A thorough family man and an excellent and smashing father. Not like many other heroes, who dump their wives once they reach a peak position. All his fellow colleagues and even the ones who might have worked just once with him swear through his professionalism and the light and friendly attitude that he maintains on set. He is a true king and he deserves to be one at Madame Tussads.

bagpuss should stop blaming our muslim brethren for everything...Rajnikanth is not an idiot either, he acts better too...SRK isn't a great actor- If you close your eyes and hear him talk, all the dialogues are rendered in the same way- "sadness", "happiness", "anger", everything sounds the same...Range of emoting actually sucks...Aamir is a much much better actor...

Aruna have you thought this out...what's the point of watching an actor act if you're asking the viewer to close their eyes.

Whenever someone talks about anything related to Hindi ( be it movie, language, literature , google website in hindi). people like you need to talk about your very own Tamizh....
get over it... try to appreciate the fact that an indian has made it to that level, stop bringing the same old raga, our Rajanikant and all...
Also its just you think Ranjnikant acts better than SRK.. not the whole world...

SRK's ancestory is not Indian - please don't refer to him as an Indian - he's a muslim with muslim ancestory - if anything its the muslims who should be proud of his achievment

Darling What a blatant comment ? It only reflects your mentality..Pls grow up you are still struck up with this Hindu/Muslim un ending debate....Let us build INDIA together irrespective of cast and creed....Lets stand up and proudly say "I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN "
RE:Rajnikanth
by bagpuss on Apr 12, 2007 03:49 PM
honeybunch... yes you say that now - but muslims ALWAYS,ALWAYS have an alterior motive & that is to steal (which is what happened when pakistan was formed (remember this was India at one time)and they are now trying to steal Kashmir))-if you are so proud to be an Indian what are you doing to keep Kashmir Indian? The world would probably be a safer place if it wasn't for muslims(backward thinking terroists)-you only have to watch the news to see what they're doing and what they've achieved - there will always be this divide because muslims are untrustworthy.

My dear Ramu....... Keep ur old rajini with u itself.Dont compare. Each one is good in their own field.
He is teh most crappy actor of India ... a disgrace to Indian movie industry ... whole of Bollywood is a disgrace to Indian movies and Indian s.... Unfortunately the cowbelt folks only love this ...
RE:How much??
by bagpuss on Apr 12, 2007 03:59 PM
reason for doing this is: i) needs to feed his ego ii) has more money than sense ( before someone replies i agree 'yes' he has got more money than i have - but compared to him i don't have an ego)
