I go to Brazil every year to visit my family there and I do attest that the people and landscape is very nice. However the problem (or speed bumps) start the moment you apply for a tourist visa in india. The Brazilian consulate is the rudest bunch of yo-yos and put the american consulate folks to shame in that department. Not only do they make you visit/file your applications 2-3 times every time you apply for one, but never tell you what doeuments are missing. There is alist of standard docs required whic is listed in the application as well on the website - but that is just to tease you - the *real* list of documents is always in the mind of the visa officer - who more often than none is an indian. Now if only the Indo-Brazilian commerce group can rectify this rude behaviour, I am sure more Indians would feel welcome to Brazil.
I read article "will Hrithik's Dhoom2 prove lucky for Brazil" . . . Foz do Iguacu is on the borders of Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina not Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
