many herions are putting off there cloths but they didnot give sexy appeal like malika.hence people noticed her.my comliments to her and go ahead malika i wish u all the best.and i read ur remark and change and add the word Especially since Madame Mallika chose to dress in her typically eye-catching style, in a sari that left lot very to the imagination. sp singh
This film is awful despite some good, witty humour scenes ... the film revolves around people who are of the "dhobi ka kutta na ghar ka na ghaat ka" sorts, hung up between west and east, living more in the western mode, confused people and then there is loads of unnecessary sexuality, Mallika has nothing to offer except it, she is a dumb actress ... is this really such a worthy topic that you make a movie of it ? everything has it's pros and cons, love too and indian people can handle it, why the big fuss about it ? well, the hung up sorts can't so they should be worried :)
Hey first of all !! Why didn't the reviewer give 4 stars for this movie? Its totally unfair. Is the reviewer too old to like this movie? This movie really really touched my heart n soul. All the realties of lovers n relationships. I mean everything is just put in the right place... I related myself in the movie. Just too good n fantastically humourous..... Its been a long time i've laughed like this watching movies. This movie should've been given 4 stars for many reasons; 1.Very fantastic humour 2.Songs r good 3.Realities of relationships 4.How is a woman in a relationship 5.How a man reacts to a woman in a relationship 6.Brilliant acting by both the leads 7.Tongue-struck direction And more to say..... I'm sure many guys n gals would've related themselves in the movie. Plz dont miss this guys...... I wish this movie bags award for the humour. I wish there was something in bollywood like "Best Romantic movie of the yr". Then i bet this one would've grabbed. Pyar ke side effects... Heartthrobing movie. This one's in my list of my fav movies. This one doesn't bore even for a second. Hats off to Mr.Saket!! U've got a long way on bollywood!N Leads.... U ppl've grabbed it all..
I guess the side effect of a Raja Sen review is to make you do the opposite of what he says. I did that, and thanked my stars. I would have missed a good movie if I had not seen PKSE.
The movie does tend to flag in the second half .. but is enjoyable stuff.. deserves 3 stars.
Rahul Bose, Mallika and i shud also mention Ranveer have done a fab job. The movie has an awesome comedy in a very natural way. Its a laugh buster....go for it guys....its far better then you expect it to be.
Great and different film. New age cenima is arrived. Hats of to PNC for giving opportunities to so many new talents. Saket the director full marks. great vision of film making. As for the cast they are a riot to watch. Be it rahul mallika or ranvir great stuff. Nanu ka toh jawab nahin yaar. Konkana ka jadu chaal raha hai.
The movie is full of urban tadka. great original stuff
It is obvious that Raja Sen does not watch a lot of movies, I can bet he must have seen Mohabbatein 100 times. The movie pyar ke side effects is very new age and identifies with a lot of us in their late 20's early 30's the dilemma on marriages, as well as having a wrong idea what marriage is all about. Though I would agree theres a bit of Notting hill, Meet the parents kinda a thing but then Munna Bhai Mbbs was supposed to be a Patch Adams rip-off. The casting was great, the acting was better and though am not a Mallika Sherawat fan, her performance was excellent. I am not so sure if Sophie was the correct choice for the cast but then the moon isnt perfect either.
