Hey man, there are many good SWAMAKE movies like GANDUGALI KUMARARAMA, MOHINI,CYANIDE,JOGI,SEVANTI SEVANTI etc.But I still admit that there are not many.Tell your friends to watch these movies. If you have not seen these films come to BENGALOORU and watch them there.

Dude I am a kannadiga, I am also a fan of kannada movies, I dont say that it not a good movie, but if it was a not a remake I could have been very proud, Actually the people from different states who saw the movie is pissing me off here saying that we always make remakes and we cannot make a orginal movies. That the reason my comment was so harsh. I am not able to defend our kannada movies. If you any idea please give me.

Manmathudu was not a BIG creation! the hero of the film was trivikram who wrote dialogues and screenplay. It had good faces like sonali nad few good numbers. The formula worked.
Indrajith tried it differently...that's all..why make serious comments yaar....light lo...
accha hai tho dekho verna light lo....kitte hindi/telgu/tamil/kannada movie isse pehle bhakwaas nai the?

You non-sense go and watch the movie again.People like you never appreciate anything done nicely by KANNADA FILM INDUSTRY.
aishwarya is a must watch movie , it is great that kannada movie is doing very well in all over the country , specially thanks to indrijith director he has done a very well movie.

Before you talk abt kannada film better see movies like Om, Shhh, A, and recently Amruthavarshini which is also came in telugu. Jogi is in line...
The movie was watchable. It had a lots of funny moments. Uppi shakes his eyes very well. He is very stylish as well. The movie also had his flaws. The climax, where Deepika jumps into water was so silly that I laughed my heart out. May be Indrajit's "Bandlee Head" had ran out of ideas.Anyways, the movie is worth a watch, especially for Uppi fans.
Awsome movie... very enjoyable by whole family. Uppi rocks but the find of the movie is Deepika. She is amazingly beautiful and has made a strong debut. Best wishes to her.....
