hey hrithik is d best and that has been proved by adlabs. hrithik has d highest crowd pulling ability in india. srk is gone now. doing the same type of roles again and again. hrithik is by far d best.
well whatever happened to sunjay dutt in the list of superstars kick akshay out considering the only hits he has is with other actors playin the lead(salman for example).and ya i think hrithik is not worth that money ateast not now he's just not multi dimensional in his acting like aamir is.

Hi Man U can feel good movies from south and from Bengali movies, we never accept that Bollywod\\\'s s good , now in hindi u wont find any quality actors and actress when u compare south...we never Bother Bolly wood.

hey Jayan,who told you Tom Cruise and Arnold acted in Spiderman and Superman??? You cannot compare these movies with Krrish only due to the superhero factor.Krrish was a huge gamble and novel concept in India, by gutsy Rakesh Roshan and it paid off bigtime.This movie is a trendsetter in bollywood industry and Hrithik has crried it wonderfully on his shoulders,I dont think anyone else would have done such an excellent job.Dont forget this movie was a sequeal so other star wouldn't have fit in it. And to other guys...shame on you for fighting on north Indian and south Indian movies ...the topic is Hrithik's deal with adlabs.Poor rediff had to change the title of article to highest paid hindi star.

You should understand one thing Tamil/Telgu movies are not made for people all over India. They have their own markete. It's not all about money only. Actors like Aamir, SRK & Hrithik are known everywhere in India because people can see their movies anwhere in India. That is not the case with Rajni Kanth and Kamal Hassan. I am great admirer of south Indian movies because I have lot of South Indian friends but the truth is South Indian movies are focused on audience in South India only.
I hope, you would understand my point. Again, I am not arguing about the quality/ talent of SI movies the only thing is market.

Rajnikanth & chiranjeevi are regional movies stars & do not commend much audience. Hindi movie stars represent the Indian film cinema. these south indian movie stars have black money therefore they cannot be called indian stars. anyway the entire south indian film industry is just 10% of bollywood , both in terms of size , money & quality.No one can stop hindi cinema in any part of tamil nadu/karnataka/AP, as there are a large number of muslims who will stick to bollywood no matter what happens. so tamil/telugu industry is like a mouse infront of a tiger bollywood. stop comparing

BOLLYWOOD IS INDIAN CINEMA. Tamil, Telegu, Bengali, Oriya, Punjabi are also Indian, but Regional. UNLESS Rajanikanth and Chiranjeevi produces few hits with a Hindi Cinema they will never be considered a National Hero. Hindi is the national language. It does not matter how much they make or whether birds and animals also watch their movies or not. Even Boman Irani is much more popular than them because he is in Bollywood cinema.

Spiderman,Superman are not a Hits because Tom Cruize or Arnold acted in it. It was the theme and its special effects made those movies hit the BOx Office. Krish would have been a hit even if Hritik dint acted in it. Its Just that Bollywood people do not believe in thier ability to creats hits but rather banks on the star value to produce hits.

Yes as sanjay said we cannot compare bollywood movies with south indian movies. Bollywood movies dont have anything other than filthy skin shows and violence. they dont know what a quality movie is.. is there any quality Hindi movie in the recent years?
you can see class,quality, innovative ideas in south indian movies.. so don't compare..
coming back to Hrithik's Salary, it is a pity that highest paid bollywood actors are getting not even half of what actors like Rajinikanth is getting... He is the ultimate king of Indian cinema.. Even the BigB is looking for a chance in Rajini's Tamil movie Sivaji.
I think Adlabs will heavily bear loss after this deal. Hrithik has not got such capability to pull such big budget films on his own. He is not BigB or SRK. I think Adlabs should have made this deal with SRK or BigB.
Anyway i pray for Adlabs so that they are not declared bankrupt after such huge losses.

Well u obviously havent been following indian cinema lately, hrithik following the success of KMG and Krishh, and with the critical aclaim for Lakshya is one of the top drawer actors along with SRK, Aamir, and Big B.
As u rightly said, 55% of film production cost is spent on star alone. When the production cost goes up, naturally Producer & distributors wants their share abck & returns. Will this in way affect the pocket of film goer??? 10 years bak with just Rs.5, i used 2 watch a movie in Balcony, but now I am shelling out Rs.50 for the same. Taking inflation & all economic jargons into consideration, how much should I pay 2 watch the movie produced with Billions of rupees?????
Hrithik deserves lots more....congratz to him...he is certainly one of the best Actors we have today, he needs attention from the Johars,Chopras....they should also concentrate on this extremely talented actor than relying on some stereotypes..like sharuk.. Hrithik is extremely popular in USA and UK not only with Indians or NRI's but also with the whites...they simple love his looks and acting skills ...(KMG, Krrish...)

Thats bullshit!!!. He is not that popular among white. there may be a few whites who watch movies from other countires like we sometimes watch french, italian and chinese movies.
I have seen only one movie of Hrithik Rosan so far and that is Kaho Na Pyar Hain.
Hrithik is one actor who is a complete hollywood product but unfortunately the most under-rated actor in bollywood just bcoz bollywood always tries to respect actors like Khans... but suddenly in a recent spat of time, Hrithik has created a mass hysteria and now coming more grooved and more solid. So, he is gaining due respect and fame he deserves. He should be paid this much high and I am sure Adlabs took a right decision. Adlabs, Hrithik, Me, You and Everybody will gain from this decision. Adlabs will rake in millions, Hrithik will get money, fame and probable success, and Me & You will get to see more and more quality and classy movies!!
