I adore Sri Vidya as an actress. I liked her acting very much in Balachander's Sollathan Ninaikeran. She comes out singing to give vocal support to her elder sister in that movie. That scene was very touching to me. It is a great loss to the film Industry. She was one of the beautiful women with very appealing eyes. May her soul rest in peace . She was a good woman, who had multi talents. Her loss is irrepairable .....She was born as a tamilian but died as a malayali..She will be remembered as one of the beautiful actress malayalam cinema has produced. May her soul rest in peace... Two drops of tears for her....
Srividya was a talented actress in South Indian Film Industry. As far as kannada film concerned, even though she acted in few films, her performance in the film was memorable. In Kannada movie, Suprabhatha, directed by Dinesh Baboo, she did splendid in acting as a Sister. In AK-47 also, her acting was super.
Recently, the film industry has lost one of the great actresses i.e.Padmini, and now we have lost genius actress i.e. Srividya.
Smt.Sobha Warrier has forgotten to add that Sri Vidya had become spiritual in the end and started composing and singing Sai Baba bhajans.A picture of saibaba was kept even near her deadbody at VJT Hall.Is Sobha fearful about adding that fact since she will lose her image?
Srividya was one of the most gifted artist in South Indian Cinema. She was a versatile actress proved her genius in acting, dancing and singing. She has performed some memorable roles in many films and got many awards for the notable performances.

My wife and I are deeply grieved to hear about Srividya's passing away. She certainly was a good actress and a talented dancer. Music naturally was in her veins as it was a genetic heritage. We were surprised at the sudden closure of her latest Malayalam serial "Amma Thamburatti" which she acted graciously befitting the character. May her soul rest in peace...
