Now those few homes who will be left still running for SRK KBC under their wives pressure ..( only femine charactered male can do that, and of course that include SRK fans too)..will have tough time. Their wives..who were just happy with Delhi times section of TOI will now start giving try to become an aroused responsbile citizen by discussing dresses and hairstyle of SRK during this n that episode of KBC..."Leela did you see that flying hair in episode 10th?" or"Mrs. Kharbanda ki tunne dekhkhi wo kaali kurti SRK ti in episode 3?" ya one girls discussing in college" yaar kal KBC me to SRK itna hansom dikh raha tha wo ladka to uske saamne..oo..." But none of them will be knowing the questions asked..and their correct answer..bus ji SRK tha na! These houses will have a common problem...males fighting with their female counterparts (less intellginet?..becuase I find even the intelligent females hating SRK!). I think finally Star TV is trying to captivate it's saas Bahu audiences by bringing SRK inside. After all who cares of wisdom and grace when you have got universal biaji show and it's viewers! Comin to the fact...SRK and his followers are like dogs tail..who feel they r straight!
Those who are crying that SRK is the choice of present generation..they must polish their knowledge that SRK has not seen even a pinch of superstardom which AB has enjoyed. Half of our country people don't know who is SRK! He neither ranks in even top 10 stars of all time at box office. Akshay Kumar has better box office rapo and no. of hits than Shahrukh. Shahrukh Khan is just another Rajesh Khanna, who could give only romantic hits. Even Shahrukh Khan has not tasted that kind of superstardom which rajesh Khanna enjoyed. These guys who r calling frogs of well to other r showing themselves as frogs with such a zero level info and argument..which reaffirms my confidence that SRK fans are only dumb people, relying over foxpass and wrong info. Shahrukh was overshadowed by Junior Bachchan in KANK. If shahrukh Khan is so charmer why not he work in mutlistarrer movies? All knows he can't even stand worst actors like sunny deols. But since every star has got fans around so has SRK. But fact is that SRk has no unison stardom which his predecessor enjoyed. he is popular only in metro and his identity is only as a metro boy..and that Star Tv is going to see soon.

1) Akshay was never even closer to SRK though his last three years were good. But Srk is rukling since more than a decade when akshay used to be flop star. 2)AB juniour " if he had over shadowed in KANK y dint umrao jaan is total wash out ? Y dint Jaane-man collappsed of akshay / salman too have great fan following. Y did don did business of 50 crore when all the media had written it OFF ??

Don't get me wrong - I am a great fan of AB and I loved his KBC, but it annoys me that most people here are so narrow-minded like frogs in a well.
What's wrong with SRK doing KBC? Get over it folks, it has been decided. The KBC producers are no fools and they wouldn't pay him double the amount of what they used to pay AB unless they had strong confidence in him.
Do you think they picked him just like that? They surely must've done their research.
Someone here compared AB to "GOD". For your information, he ain't that BIG. SRK rules today's Bollywood generation. Junior Bachchan can never match up to him and Hrithik, though a sexy hunk cannot be as spontaneous as King Khan. And remember, these two made it to movies cuz of their Papas. Whereas SRK is a self-made man.
For that matter, even our Big B became popular only after marrying Jaya Badhuri.
As for Don, much as you all deny, it is a HUGE success and it is LOT BETTER than Dhoom 2 which is utter crap.
Again, let me tell I only made these comparisons cuz others started first - I do like AB a lot, but if people keep on passing biased comments, it bothers me!

DO you know what you are writing? You just wrote something silly here! From where talk over AB junior and Hrithik arrived man? Also I can't stop lughing on you saying that AB got popularity due to Jaya! MAn AB is the only artist with Mithun to get national award for his very first performance. It was only Zanjeer which gave him first hit, otherwise world new him very well. AB had to drive taxi and even had to slep on footpaths in Mumbai. SRK is not even a fraction of AB in any sense. And if that popularity would have been so dependent over Jaya, AB would not have ruled the world till now..and so long. SO this is better to write something logical and sane here. And plz open the box office report. SRK starrer Don is a flop in India and it earned it's money from Britain and Austrelia. Don't give wrong info to public. Also SRK has not given any full fledged hit for past 3 years. He is struggling even as a star and does politics and media brikerage to maintain himself in limelight. Not a single national award winning performance. Out of 50 movies he has given 30 flops! And you say he is ruling the present generation..do you understand what ruling means? Half country does not know him!
Guys , Chill, Thers no way anybody other than SRK can follow Big B. SRK matches Big B in language, manners, etc, but the old time charm will be missing, as he is too sophisticated, but he might bring the kind of NRI audience that Mr Bachchan cant. After all he is the most polpular Indian face in the world. Star certainly have their head in the right place and targeting overseas audience.

Like Star Tv you too seem to have lost the logic. Star TV had to take SRk under political pressure. SRK is not that much popular in India itself, that one would think to replace AB with him. SRk has indeed no hold over viewership in eastern india and southern india while Amitabh had wide coverage including smallest of villages. NRI population is not more than those in eastern and sothern pocket of India as well as SRK is not even as popular as AB in overall! Secondly, NRIs in USA rarely watch Indian channels. And in no way Mr. Khan has even a fraction of mannerism, international appeal and elan of Mr. Bachchan to host this show internationally. You think yourself who will watch such show which is subcopy of Who want to Be Mellionare...wil they watch the original or this one??? A man who dances in marriage parties and whom half of India does not acknowledge...this is not less than blunder to rope in such persona to replace the one who gave identity to KBC. Star was never a successful channel in India excpept the new lease of life granted by KBC..nd again they r going to enter into the lowest rank with such blunder.
