Yuvan proved once again. he is great in this film. Seriously Saraswathy Srinivas does not understand the quality and reality of this album. She just blabbered !!!!!!!!!!
Saraswathy Srinivas doesnt have the knowledge to judge the exquisiteness of the music. Truely speaking, i could enjoy the essence of folk music for the first time. The reviewer first have to clear her ears with a ENT! Kudos to Yuvan
all songs r really gud. tanka dunga and oor voram puliya maram r a typical village based songs.those kinds of lrics were added for complete commercial elements.I tink these two songs wnt come back again to tamil cinema.
Saraswathy srinivas is the picture perfect journalist or reviewer we have in India.
Has knowledge of english,and the social order to talk on the subject but sadly lacks common sense.She has no idea about the theme of the movie,the locale where it is based and all that and she is judging the music.
The worst part is she doesn't even know tamizh.Her deduction of the lyrics of the maestro's song is totally wrong.
It is not a preachy song talking about the callousness of today's youth but about the soulfulness of an adoloescenet romance and the unabashed way inw hich the village folk go about exhibiting their romance without any inhibitions or hypocrasies.
All songs are situation oriented especially in this movie yuvan has really tried his best in providing regional music, At present yuvan is the most happening composer who rules south indian film industry. Already three songs have become hit and its the favorite in all FM radio's too.
Saraswathy must keep her mind versatile to capture the village ambience in yuvan's music I hope thats why she came out with a scrapy review.
I dunno how come Ms. Saraswathy Srinivas can Review such a wonderful Album "Paruthiveeran" without any flavour for Folk Music. Ultra-modern techniques with unknown sounds is not alone good music (you people believe).

i agree with you. i duno why the hell most tamil film and songs reviewer in this site truly suc*s ...that TVS hari is giving stupid rating for good movies and here this lady reviewer giving 1 star for an averange album..
i like two songs from the album ..the album deserve 2 star
