I wish, the sender mistype my name in the address, I would have got that money...Sending money in parcel! Good method..and thats for publicity (of what kind??)..may be the white packet must be some drugs...but surprising is that, the costum officer has till not taken any swift action...he didnt get any response from Ash and still satified and hoping that she will turn up next week...how weak u officers..I would have fined Ash for her negligence and then solve the matter of costum...Have some self-respect guys, and shd never forget to understand value and importance of the position u r holding...a little bit of proffesionalism buddy!
Some one leaving a packet of 23,000 EUROS to gain "cheap" publicity. Whats wrong with these people! Syed Firdaus...not all phrases can be used everywhere!

Mr Salil Nair, it is not the Syed Firdaus who said it may be for cheap publicity. it was Mr Prasad, the Commissioner of Customs (Import) who suggested this.
Gift of 23000 Euro is a peanut for glamour girl like Aishwarya. It puts her in bad light as far as her market value is concerned. The person should have offered his life for the sake of Ash!!Good wishes ASH
If Ash was to get a pay off in cash she would not be so STUPID as to ask someone to send it to her via normal post!Obviously its someone upto some mischief???

Anjan, my friend this is bollywood who is connected with underworld and so 13.5 lakh rupees is surely cheap by their standard. It is like penuts for underworld people or some actor who has bad relation with Ash.
Well this is not surprising celebs have been known to fiddle laws. one star got an undervalued car and now refuses to pay Octroi, a muscle bound ox was driving a car not registered to him, another has a hummer under investigation. I also recall a cricekter of yore was found to have undeclared foreign currency in his locker.
The authorities are too wimpish when it comes to clebs they soft pedal. I know while sportspersons struggle to get a decent kit and meals, Airhwarya was paid a fortune for a few minutes of jerk and wiggle.
