u r wrong,rajkumar karnataka legend was not d 1st one 2 get dis honour,legendary director satyajit ray was also given Doctorate by Royal College of Arts, London in 1974,i think u note only the kannadigas...
It is good to hear that Mr. Bachchan (My all time fav.) is honoured by doctorate. Congratulations Big B, you truely desrve it. But it is mentioned in the article that he is the only one to get such an honour, but Rajkumar, the legend of kannada films, is honoured by doctorate decades ago and recently Vishnuvardhan is also honoured by doctorote by Mysore University. Once again congratulations to Bollywood Badashah.

oops! I misread the line "Bachchan is the only film personality in the history of the university to receive such an honour."
