Stealing Acts
by Nimmish Pal on Jun 27, 2007 03:31 PM

Yash ji,

I do not understand why you or your company indulge in stealing acts. Don't you have enough from life??? Why are you so greedy and aspire for credits...that are due to others.

I can say so confidently as you have been indulging in such things in the past as well.

I will like to know why you did not give the credit of the script Kabhie Khabhie to Naresh Pal (my father). You tried convincing him by saying that it is a original story while the fact remains that you made some minor changes in his script and cheated on him.

Why did you do this? Instead of appreciating and giving due motivation to the young writer you played some dirty tricks and gave credit to other saleable writer. It caused immensed frustration to my father and further added on to his struggle to find a place in film industry.

Because of you my father went in immense depression...My father was young then and innocent too. He trusted you blindly and even did not register his script. You made unfair advantage of this situation and kept delaying by not meeting him on the pretext of something or the other...

Again I will ask Why did you do this???

Yash Chopra is a good Producer n Distributor. But One thing is that he should opt Salman Khan,Aamir khan for future projects instead of Shahrukh khan.
Sometimes his films are not good and doesnot run in india or Overseas, but he pretend to
be hit as his films only run one week in US and UK.
and covers the film making charges. Moreover, his films does not have subject in it.

Lamhe and Silsila were also beautifully made and wonderfully treated .May be the subject was not as per taste of avaerage Indian audience.
Hats off to him for such wonderful display of Human emotions.
