I had the misfortune of watching Fanaa yesterday and can't stop thinking just what on earth made this film earn record dollars. There are too many flaws in the script, no chemistry between the lead actors (Yes, I mean Aamir and Kajol) and worse there's no motivation for either to be together or be a family. In the end one feels no sympathy for either. And, what can you say about Tabu's role, here's an Anti Terrorist Officer trying to stop a nuclear attack that could kill 50 lakh people but... there's no tension,no urgency, pretty bland! Well, its an average movie because of a decent second half, but overall implausible, illogical and definitely worth a miss.

I guess you never understood the theme of the movie and could not relate to it. I suggest you go watch it again! Its a great movie and should definitely win an award. I won't be surprised if you were either a friend of Raja Sen or Raja himself. To all, it a 'Not to Miss' movie. Watch it and judge yourself.
i hate people who say that Fannaa has bad music...i think it is excellent music. New generation like my own must realize that this type of music is actully our cultural music...not those Western Type BHOOMBHOOM fastass music. respect this great music before our culture is lost
With such amazing acting talents as Aamir and Kajol, u would expect a strong story backed up by good direction. Fanaa fails miserably in being realistic and some scenes are glaringly silly. Kunal could have handled the actors better without those cliches. Agreed that the story so different, but when u tend to get nuclear weapons into the story, it should atleast be believable. Tabu says that she would come the next morning to pick up the trigger when two countries could be destroyed, you can hear people laughing.! Fanaa is saved by good music and cinematography. Kajol and Aamir look very good on the screen. I would have preferred to see them in a strong storyline backed by good screenplay without the stupid cliches!
This was one of the worst movies I have seen in recent times,not only the movie is overhyped but it has such a bad storyline. Its a total timewaste that also for 3hrs. Complete torture,The director completely forgot the basics of making a movie....Pls dont waste time

If you didn't like Fanna, may I ask what movies do you like? Surely weird ones! Fanna is a great movie. The performances by both Amir and Kajol are outstanding. Its a movie worth watching. The music is great as well. Fanna has a theme to it and the movie flows very well with the theme. I would suggest that you watch it again to REALLY understand the movie this time.
The review by Raja is fine, the film is really not good. Look in the way what we will expect from Aamir, Kajol and Yash Raj films together. It doesn't stand nearby.
Fanaa is one of the best films of Yash Raj production.The film has made a record business in its fist week.It has recieved great appreciataion from the audience.Unfortunately some pro BJP people are busy in making a negative propaganda against the King of all KHAAAAAAAAANs, Aamir.But to every one s surprise the controvercy has gone in its favour.Though its not released in Gujrat ,yet it has made its mark,running successfully all over India and abroad.The best thing about Fanaa is performances.Both Aamir and Kajol performances were extraordinary.Aamir has onece again proved it that he is no match in versitality with any one.He surpasses many degrees than Shahrukh in this respect.Over all fanaa is a big movie.
Mr. Raja, Fanaa is a class movie..its not like typical Govinda movie....its a class apart...i think u don't know how to review a movie...u just look for the fun and comedy in movie...for a moview reviewer it needs to look on every aspect of movie..not only fun etc.. it would be better if u redefine ur revieweing skills..otherwise don't comment such garbage comments on good movie in public..
Yash Raj banner, in my mind depicts a very well potrayed love story. Or a strongly said message. These movies have characters so strong that you start identifying with them, and feel the pain and happiness they go through. Fanaa completely loses out in magic. yes the magic is just not there!!! You watch it because you know that movie can be carried on by Aamir and Kajol all by themselves,But you sit on as uninvolved audience. The length of the movie and overdone shayari is quite a turnoff. Even Aamir Khan's character is extremely confusing! he is so unclear. Kajol as ever looks extremely natural and does it with ease( very expeted) All in all..the treatment to the movie could have been much much better

Please, go take history class from true teacher. You got no history or have no idea of future. Have you ever hear about Punjab, Kashmir, our part of India. See how many Indian army people dies for us just to protect us against terriost. You people have no idea how mugals ruled, have you?
Please, think deeper than you can.Open your mind to general people living in worst situation, not for amir or his stupid movie.
