By the way, note that the film was not BANNED in gujarat. It was only a multiplex related dispute. Yet, ost people have taken assumtions that modi is behind it. Surprisingly, the same congress that violently protested against aamir and brougt down his film RDB in gujarat is now claiming that bjp has banned his film.
On the whole I think the issue of the release of the Film Fanaa is being blown out of proportion. The politicians, the media & the rest of are ensuring that this issue is blown up beyond a point.
I definitely do not think that banning a movie is right, just because an actor expressed his feelings and emotions on a current subject Iam also surprised to read some of the comments posted on the site. Some of them have gone on to ask as to why Aamir Khan had ignored the Kashmir & the problems on Kashmir. Why are we not able to control ourselves and look at these people as ordinary citizens who are in the showbiz., Infact it is only because of the fact that we are putting these people on a pedestal thet their reactions seem so important to us. This is like an article published in the newspapers of Sachin Tendulkar visiting the temple "Subrahmanya". I am sure this need not have been published since definitely this is not earth shaking news. In a similar vein I think everybody is going overboard on the release of Fanaa in Gujarath & on Aaamir Khans statements. Gujarath is definitely not the whole of India and I am sure the production house would still make enough profits from the movie.
I had seen one of Aamirs interviews on NDTV a couple of years back and even then he had said something against Narendra Modi ... Narendra Modi is the worst leader gUJURAT can have ... Aamir khan is revoultionary in what he has said and done ... only such things can wipe out the dirt off our shining India ... he is setting an example we should follow ... JAI HIND :)
Where was This Amir when earth quake has distroy whole north-east of Gujarat, where he had been for LAGAN'S shoooting. Well treated and loved by those people. He did not turned on that time.

If Aamirkhan give statement for rehabiliation so that is really good, we should make more stornger him.
But, the time and platform he chosen was very wrong. He went to medha patkar who is oppoing the NARMADA DAM, he should speak from his home or anywhere from the country but not with Medha Patkar. and yes, the time, the decision of Supreme Court was after two days on increasing dame and he give the statement.
Naturally, people of gujarat are vey annoyed with this kind of activity with Medha Patkar.
If, he has really worried about the rehabiliation, he should stand with government and watch the activity of rehabiliation and where is the mistake?
Actualy amir himself does not want this controversy to be over as he is getting free publicity (or paid to media). If he is so concerned to end this contravarcy instead of taking stand he should have told to people " he did not wanted to heart any bodies sentiment on narmada dam and he had only spoken about rehabilation however if any body is heart by my statement I am sorry " This would have ended the chapter their itself. but than he would not have got so much free publicity.
1 )By stating this congress is showing their mentality of sudo secularism. When hindus killed in mau and kashmir where are these leaders. 2) Amir has joined megha to gain publicity for his coming films and he has suceeded in that .Thanks to Media for giving free publicity to Amir.
3) Why congress govtin punjab and goa has banned Da vici code., why media is not talking about that ban.

WHY is it that everytime someone stands up for something, people ask, if you're doing, why didnt u do that or why dint u stand up for that? ITS RIDICULOUS- grow up ppl!!!! just like some person here who wants to know why amir never said anything regarding kashmir.. what is ur problem? if he was standing up for kashmir, u wud have asked why he isnt standing up for something ELSE either. jeez.
