The Movie has already had many oppositions. A true Christian can never even think of accepting the book as a gift.
Trying to stop the movie release may be sustained, but the fact is what of the movie is the devil's plan.
As Jesus himself said that in the last days there will be many false witness proclaiming that they are Christ and even many will rise up saying that Jesus is not the SON of God.
WHoever may say what they want but only the fools will accept any concept like such. I pray 4 Ron Howard's salvation. Jesus loves him too.

The answer for sahil's question is "I think only we Indians are the only people in the world who mix fictions into religion be it Hindu, Muslim or Christian. People in India are already confused that many of us worship Humans than God. Maybe the Bishop is just trying to avoid adding more persons to this list of human Gods... I think". I believe God made Man and Man made religion and in many places of the world he is also making God. Religion is a very sensitive matter which I think should be left to the religious people. I also do not think that for Hindus in India are any less sensitive than Muslims or Christians. Hindus are the majority in India. That is fact.
This is so stupid.. if u really believe this is just a fiction wats the fuss all about.. if they have no probs in Europe.. which is full of catholic christians,, wat problems do indian christians have with the movie.. i don't think christanity is that strong in INdia! Wot Say.. wanna watch the uncencored movie..

where are u?didnt u read the innumerous frontpage news. atleast here in australia its a big issue. there has also been a codebreaker for this book. dont misguide. not only india is making a hue and cry over this but the whole wrld and the oil is burning with much more vigour in the west....and my dear christianity or for the matter any religion is not a thing of their respective places of origin or concentration, rather its a global thinking.please get out of ur myopic thinking.

i am totally convinced by all the msgs posted. this has to said that chistanity and Muslims are NOT AT ALL strong in India otherwise these guys wldn't have made so much fuss abt the pics. as 4 i have not heard even 1 bit of news from international front abt censoring the movie nd all that.
even hindus don't make ny news abt husains pics or such stuff. i think these guys need to be open minded. atleaest look to ur brothers in europe nd US. did they raise their voice on the movie???? then y u when majority accepts that ????
Well seeing the reaction of the office beareres of the church in India one is forced to think??? Does relegion affect the surroundings or surroundings affect the relegion???? In India where the relegion is followed in words / interpretations and not in spirit. All the relegions are intolerant to each other or any positive / negative criticism is not absorbed......... With so many catholics around the world, there was hardly any news on the international circuit but in India you hear all the hum-drum!!!!!!! A general man i.e the one who has all the duties to perform (including paying tax to the govt. ) and has not rights, hardly cares !!!!!!!

Can you say why the movie "fire" was not allowed to be screened initially , because it involves or shows a poojari who has a wife and because this man is not satisfying her, she becomes a lesbian. who attacked babri masjid??? it is good to be a little sensitive.

If something like this had happened to hindus, then what shiv saniks and RSS would have done is well known. Just flash back on incidents you have quoted and see what Shiv Saniks/RSS/so called protectors of Hinduism did.
Christians community has acted really calmly. But there protest doesn't make much sense here in India, because the whole west (the origin of this religion) is accepting it.

Of course there were protest but what was the governtment reaction then; did the IB ministry jump in to censor the movie like then did for this movie?!?!
It is good that film would get released. I don't know whether religious feelings are for all religions except hindus. why are people like mahesh bhatt, shabana azmi keeping mum, In india people can do any mokery of hindu religion, nobody cares, and if we protest against it, people tell things like, open culture. nonsense person like mf hussain draws useless pictures of saraswati, bharat mata, then there are no protests, but if something is against muslims, christians, then there is protest. Please stop this

Who said there was no protest against MF Hussain ,Shabana Azmi,Mahesh Bhat etc.Was'nt the whole country on fire, lit by you people.So, now you don't even tolerate a peaceful request by the minority community.Maybe if the bishops had gone the hindutva way burning people alive & terrorising women & children, their voice would have been heard better !!
