Dead animals.
by Sreedhar on May 18, 2006 02:07 PM

Animal dies of over eating???? ok, let's accept that. Why was he carrying those dead animals in his vehicle.
About pavement accident, ok, boss, let's hear it from you. Tell us what had happened.
Just because there had been no convictions in the past, it doesn't mean there will not be any in future. Anyway, thaks for being a role model for "what should not be done?".
Luckily judges of this nation are no big fans of Film heros.

There is another judge up there..
by Maya on May 18, 2006 01:59 PM

Salman claims to be innocent in the blackbuck case as well as the platform death case.Though he may be released by our prejudiced system of justice. He musn't forget that according to his religion and all others too, there is a judge up there from whom he can't escape.Another judge is very much present in each one of us-our conscience. If even after commiting a crime as petty as theft or as grave as murder, if one can't look at oneself in the eye in the mirror because our conscience does not permit us to do so. Then I would say that justice has been done..

Wake up, Sallu
by Ketan Dand on May 18, 2006 01:54 PM

Salman is trying to fool people by saying that he is in jail to save the livelihood of others. Witnesses have turned hostile and evidence has been tampered with in this case. He has tried every trick in and outside of the book to be let off. I wonder why he has been let out on bail, if instead of tending to his mother he is stripping at concerts?

Salman Khan needs a course in compassion
by deepa on May 18, 2006 01:39 PM

What a tragic interview of Salman Khan! Why on earth is rediff giving him this faltu publicity? Not only is the man unrepentful of what he's done (shooting & slitting the throat of a blackbuck and driving a car rashly after being drunk), he's actually playing martyr! He really needs a course in compassion. It would make his life much better and also that of his family. He needs to be reminded - one always pays and is responsible for one's acts of deliberate cruelty.
