Think well!
by Ziad on Jul 31, 2006 03:06 AM

Hi Mr Jatin and Mr Lalit. You are two brothers. You have been able to create sensation with ur songs. I think it is a wrong step taken by both partners. You succeeded in giving melodious musics in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hein, Mohabbatein, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Hum-Tum, Jab Pyar Kiss se Hota hein, Pyar Kia to darna Kya... and now Fanaa. U have always been my best Music Masters. I like both of u. How will it be possible now for me to choose one among u. I better shift to another music director... may be Shankar-Ehsaan_loy.
THINK WELL!!!!

Jatin-Lalit are senior musician of bollywood's music industry. Now days Musical tests are going to be changed becoz of Himesh. He is not a bad musician ,he is doing what pepole & our generation likes. But jatin-Lalit Proved it their seniority and made everybody FANNA with their music.

parting of jatin lalit
by ajinkya on Jun 14, 2006 08:23 PM

I strongly feel they are the best composers we have in the music industry. They have delivered evergreen melodious hits which are fresh even today. It is sad they havent received any awards for their phenomenal work. Their parting of ways will be a loss to film industry and to indian music thats for sure.

DO not Part
by Indrapriya Bhattacharyya on May 28, 2006 11:20 AM

Hallo JatinJi and LalitJi

We have hundreds of personal problems each day. That does never mean we mix up our personal and professional lives. You two might have had a tough time with your personal clashes. But, for for the sake of good music, that you have always been giving us, please do not destroy your professional careers for your personal problems. This diision will only do BAD and no good. We will loose our beloved Jatin-Lalit duo which has given us great songs like :"Rooth ke humse kahin jab chale jaoge tum", which has given us compositions like "Pehla Nashaa"... and so many more afterwards. Does notr at all matter for us if you have never won a so called AWARD!!! You have wom hearts of crores of listeners. Please continue doing that. Your personal lives should not have anything to do with your professional competencies.
Regards

Jatin Lalit on parting ways
by Vikas Wadhwani on May 25, 2006 06:48 PM

I have been a big fan of your music. It is a great loss for the industry that both of you have to part ways, although I know it might be a well thought out and discussed issue by both of you. I dont think you should regret getting awards, although it is glorified by magazines and media when you get one, but you have the biggest award of them all, the award of public, and I know both of you know that, because we have loved your music always. On of my personal favourites which does not feature on your list is the song from Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander: Rooth ke hamse kabhi, I could relate this song so much to me and my brother and I guess at some stage, maybe now both of you also share the same feeling in this song.

One thing, although is worth appreciation is that whatever problems have made both of you part ways, none of you are saying bad things about each other, both of you are appreciating the work that the other has done. This is a sign of great respect and a sign of the wonderfull 16 years that both of you have shared giving bollywood hit after hit.

I will be looking forward to music by both of you now and it is a bonus as we can have more music from both of you.All the Best..

Despite of the popularity of Himesh & talent of AR Rehman, Jatin-Lalit were the king of melodies for last 15 years.
Those who can compose Pehla Nasha, they can do miracles like Dekha Teri Mast(Khiladi), Ek Din Aap (Yess Boss), Baho ke darmiyan (Khamoshi), Jadu Hain (Ghulam), Ho Gaya Hai (DDLJ), Jo Haal Dilka (Sarfarosh), Sine Me Dil (Raju Ban Gaya..), Title Track (Chalte Chalte), Madhosh Dilki (JPKHH), Aur Kya (PBDHH), Suno Zara (Badadin), Jab Kisiki Taraf (PTHHT), Pyar Ke Liye (Dil Kya Kare), Mera Ek Sapna (Khubsoorat), Naaraz Sabera (Sangharsh), Bin Tere Sanam (Yaara Dildara) & Chaand Sifarish (Fanaa).

I was a great fan of them and will be forever. Its sad they are separating. Lets pray for them.

ya it is true dat they were kings of meloudy. n more important thing their compositions resulted in a mood refreshing songs. even nw i always listen "TUM HI HAMARI HO MANZIL MY LOV","MUZE RAT DIN","TERI CHAHAT KE DEEWANE ","BIN TERE SANAM","TERI AANKHEN ZUKI ZUKI" n many more. they r my favourite comosees n will b forever. it was very painful fr me that they decided to seperate.but i hope once again they will give us best ever melody songs in future. so hats of to you mr.jatin pandit & mr. lalit pandit. but one thning that your deo i will miss in future.
