Could you please cite a source from which you arrived at the figure of
100 mllion?100 million is 10 crore which is 10 percent of teh population
of india. The total population of all seven North-Eastern states is about
31.2 million. Which means every person in the each of the seven states
sent 3 messages on average. This sounds a tiny bit implausible to me.
Could you please explain?

reality Shows and the TV Channels

Yes, reality shows have begun to reek of the stink of unfairness and wrong practices, making the millions of audiences utter fools !
Yet one goes for it, for it does give some interesting days of TV viewing.
As for TV anchors and reporters, while a Pronoy Roy, a Rajiv Mehrotra, a Chetan Sharma are pleasant, knowledgeable and watchable, several anchors- even on a prestigious channel like NDTV24/7 has begun to bring in men and women who are positively aggressive, ill-mannered, and have no idea of courteous questioning in an interview.
Even Barkha Dutt, who is extremely knowledgeable, and sincere, and amazing in her reporting, loses her patience and cool in the programme, 'We,The People'.
Yet, whether it BBC, even in its Hard Talk, or the Cnn Interviews are enjoyable because of the mix of kknowledgeability, courtesy and humour.

Indian Channel Managers, especially those of the News Channels have to train their personnel better.
