Banaras A Mystic Love Story has spiritual context, and so, it will reveal the music composers potentials. The album has lyrics by Sameer.Urmila Matondkar, Ashmit Patel, Dimple Kapadia, Raj Babbar and Naseeruddin Shah play the lead roles in the film. The first song in the film is the ever so melodious "Kitna Pyaar Kartein Hai" sung the composer himself , who has sung it surprisingly very well in a low pitch. Another version of the same song is in the soothing voice of ALka Yagnik. Ishq Mein Dilko sung by Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan is another good love song. Lyrics are penned beatifully taking you with them in the flow. Rang Dalo is a foot tapping excellent Holi song. There is a devotional bhajan rendered gorgeously by Shreya Ghoshal. 'Banras ki Shaan' takes you through the glory of the holy city of Banaras. "Bajubandh" is a typical classical song.
hey people, firstly look at those two actors, not two but one as only sohail can act. secondly, the songs r so out of place. Seen the song where they groove like boxers in a ring???!!!! gawd!!! couldn't they catch up on some other style to dance rather than this crap...!!! looks as if another Rocky is up the charts, it clearly depicts the same storyline about a pro's life.. Come up with some good story ideas dude.. earlier it was the remix season, now it's the remake season with all pomp but no show!!!! gear up n treat us with something afresh!!!!
